I guess when you're hoping the Cowboys lose without Romo so there won't be a qb controversy, then are you really a fan of both?

Good point.

On the flip side however, the Romo bashers that cant wait form him to throw a pick so they can invade the game day thread with "he sucks", "he is trash", "he is bottom 10 in league", "he chokes" and then when Romo throws the game winning TD on 4th down they are nowhere to be found or heard from or downplay the pass by saying "the guy was so wide open, anybody could have made that play".

Hard for me to think they are not sitting there hoping the team loses so they can bash Romo...........especially when some of them just sound pissed after a win.

So it goes both ways is my point..................alot of posters on both sides have agendas that come before the team and that is just sad...............If we win Sunday, the Romo bashers will say that Orton should have been starting all year long and Romo is nothing but a backup. If we lose, the hard core Romo fans will use that as proof that Romo is the only chance this team has to win and the team losing validates that. You know this is how it is going to play out.

Knowing that a Dallas loss last week would have probably meant the end of the Garrett era, i honestly think you were hoping for a loss. just my opinion.

What would bring that on? If Orton played lights out and made a run in the playoffs. Would you not want that?

I believe 2007 or 2009 the year they went 13-3 then got smoked by the Giants in the playoff game.

Smoked?
Maybe you have have smoking something?

Dallas came inches short of winning that second round Giants game. Romo threw the game-winning TD pass but Crayton pulled up on his route.
The Giants went on to win the Super Bowl...so they were rolling.
Smoked?
Jeesh

Chan Gailey was fired immediately after losing that playoff game.......................think about that fellas.............Gailey was fired for losing a playoff game in only his 2nd season on the job and Opie cannot even break 500 and we are going on almost 4 seasons as him as head coach.

Amazing.

No he wasn't fired after losing that game. He was fired one year later after losing in the playoffs to the Vikings. Then we got 3 straight years of Dave Campo. Clearly an upgrade.
