You wouldn't know it by reading this forum, but alot of Cowboy fans hated the Romo decision. That number actually grew towards the end of the year.

Romo was actually getting booed at Texas Stadium the last two games. In reality, its probably more than half of the Cowboys fans now that dont think Romo is going to make it.

Most of the rest of the NFL agrees.

I was there for the Detroit game and I only heard a slight murmur of boos on their 2nd possession of the game when they went 3 & out to again to start the game. Other than that the crowd supported Romo.

campbell has a strong arm. of that i'm jealous. but he lacks the savvy - the intuitivenous... well, face it skinnos - romo has that certain "it" few QBs possess.

sure, he almost died from the "hold that wasn't held", "the lucy", "the terminal hiccup", etc.

they say what doesn't kill ya only makes ya stronger...

romo displays a propensity for making "something" outta "nothing".

i suspect it's really gonna suck to be you next year. same for the rest of the league.

no more dimple-grinned smiles. no more backward baseball caps.

kill... killl.... kiiilllll....

I agree with you. If Romo can bounce back and lose the grossman syndrome without gettin the vanderjagt syndrome, teams will get no mercy. Once he gets confidence back and they let him go all out like he use to be it'll be payback. :eek:hboy:

I love when fans and analyst just throw around the phrase "They have film on him now" but never ever even once give an example of anything he is doing that watching film of him is giving away.

Saying that people have film on a guy really doesn't mean a whole lot unless he is doing something particular every single time. Like pat the ball 2 times before he throws deep.

What if there is nothing on the film that lets us know more about what he is going to do than not watching film? I think saying we have film on someone is just a empty statement that gets overused.

And he'll have the off-season to improve his game. And that film can work both ways. He can see and be taught where his deficiencies lie with that film as well. I think he showed enough this season to give me confidence in him being good enough to lead this team. Aikman wasn't a sensation after his first season either.

Well said.

Using that logic then what does that say about Campbell? Teams didn't have film on him either so why did he not put up big numbers? Now teams have film on him so does that mean he will regress also? Jeeeze...

This is what makes me not swallow the "film" argument. If all it takes to befuddle defenses is to have a new QB and not having film on a QB allows them to put up big numbers, why not just start a new QB every few weeks and put up big numbers in every game?

Good post!

I'm very worried about Romo...I think he's going to be a bust. Romo is nowhere near the QB that Campbell is...and Romo has been in the league for 4 years!

Campbell will be so much better next year...I'm very worried!

I think he might just be better then Peyton Manning right now!

;)

I am SO glad I read your ENTIRE post. Man, I was about to stroke out.

I'm sure next August when extremeskins does their player vs. player comparision against the Cowboys they will have Campbell rated higher than Romo.

Its just their way.

jbz64..your wrong..romo was missing throws down the stretch, that he was making when he was on a roll, his accuracy started to go late in the season..basically the magic he had was slipping..this guy was making plays on the move with ease when he first started, but as time went on it got harder and harder..

Yeah, what was his accuracy down to 60.5 percent for the last month of the season with two games over 70%

I am so worried about his accuracy:rolleyes:

Why wait until August? I'm certain that they are doing that right now! Every player on the RedStinks are MUCH BETTER then any player on the Cowboys...you know that!

Well, the RedStinks are our little brothers (or is that sisters)?

When they come here proclaiming that so and so is better then a Cowboy so and so...just agree with them! Make them feel special...make them feel PROUD! Make them smile...then they will go away...

It's sort of like when your little brother (or is that sister?) come to you with some stick figure drawings and he says, "Look what I did...do you like it"?

Even though you know the stick figure REALLY SUCKS, you just tell your little brother (or are they our sisters?)..."Oh, yes, that is a wonderful picture"!

They will walk away happy and go back outside or back to where they came from...

RedStinks are not very smart...if you know what I mean....

Thanks for the input. I don´t know what other people have said about your post because i don´t feel like reading the previous posts(too tired), but I can say that you have overlooked Romo`s ability to change and improve during the offseason. Yes, people know how Romo played last season based on film. The question now: Do people know Romo's style of play for next year? The obvious answer is no. Romo's ability to improve will be a question throughout the summer.

When free agency starts, and some BIG NAME broken down, old players get signed by the Midget, they will be the ones that get talked about...whoever they are, they will be the best of the crop, ******!

The RedStink organization is kind of like a retirement home for the old...BUT, you cannot get in unless you have a name that is recognized by the NFL. It does not matter if you can play anymore, but, if you have a name and can take a few breaths before you pass out...you are on the team, baby! AND, you WILL get paid...

That is the "Snyder Plan" co-authored by St. Gibbs...
