Its so dumb that people bring up Haley. No one even mentioned Haley in any article about TO this year up until now that Haley blasted Boldin and was "given" the Chiefs job. Now every article has a mention about how great Haley handled it, but they forgot to mention that statisically speaking it was one of TOs worst seasons and our offense itself STUNK!

What an utterly asinine article...

truth hurts when it coems to TO dont it?

Czarnecki is one of the most credible NFL guys out there. You dont see him out there every week making outlandish claims or throwing unfounded rumors out there.

Oh you don't?

Please explain, from this article, how TO harpooned Garrett's chances to coach the Rams and oh by the way, if TO hates Garrett and his system SO bad- why wouldn't he HELP Garrett leave?

I'll await an explanation, but not expect one...:lmao2:

I dont think he deliberately tried to keep Garrett from being hired elsewhere.

He did however start the racism b/s. And we did see that mentioned w/ Garrett. You can put 2+2 together to equal 5 if you want, but this isnt rocket science.

But if you remember, Owens wowed the medical world and his Philadelphia teammates by getting himself ready to play in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. Owens caught nine passes for 122 yards and had an awesome game. The same wasn't written about McNabb.
Then again, Donovan McNabb didn't do himself any favors in the perception department by vomiting during a Super Bowl. He was physically and visibly taxed by the end of the game. That's is not exactly the type of favorable image which a quarterback should exude publicly during a championship game.

Still, one thing cannot ever be debated. Quarterbacks determine who gets the ball. If not for McNabb, Owens would not have had nine catches for 122 yards and the huge game. McNabb would have possibly been remembered for having a much better game if he were not seen as being "worn out" by the big game--which, of course, Owens exacerbated to the media by exclaiming, "I'm not the one who got tired in the Super Bowl."

Even though it was true, it's not something which someone would exclaim in front of the media after acknowledging that your big receiving game had been greatly contributed to by your "tired" quarterback. Unfortunately, Terrell Owens will always be Terrell Owens when it comes down to speaking with the media.

I agree - because of the statement of Garrett having difficulty coaching black players gained SO much steam that the fans believed it, and we all know that the fans are the ones making decisions when it comes to the team's front office

if the fans here had their say in Dallas, we'd go 3-13 next season :D

Yeah but does anyone believe 9 catches for 122 yards is what caused Donovan McNabb to be tired? If they do, why aren't other QBs physically taxed and vomiting in some of the other huge performances this season by WRs?

That's kind of twisted. Who would believe that? Who has even inferred that?

So in your world, TO spread the rumor that Garrett was a racist who couldn't coach black players, yet he didn't deliberately try to keep him from the Rams' job...:lmao:

And where is there any statement in this article that TO started this rumor? He just said it was out there and TO "was snickering" about it. He never gives ANY evidence TO did this stuff. He was VERY, VERY careful to NOT say it.

You keep on believing what these idiots tell you...:lmao2:

When did Terrell Owens claim that Jason Witten was the snitch?

Furthermore, how does Czarnecki know that Jason Witten wasn't the snitch?

Once again, does anybody have the recap Inman Roshi supposedly did when The Hard Line said the lockerroom was divided by race?

This thing has become an absolute train wreck.

Just here and in the media...

The media sells it and some buy it. It's all just off-season noise that gives message board posters something to talk about...

The racial accusations originated with Marshall Faulk. Faulk was saying early in the season that it makes no sense that Brian Stewart is getting slammed for the job he is doing in Dallas, while the Golden Buy Jason Garrett is performing pathetically and getting a free-pass. That happened mid-way in the season and came out of nowhere. There was no internal organization grumblings about race at all. Marshall Faulk stated it as if it was his own opinion.

It is amusing how the media is now trying to paint this also as TOs fault.

BTW, it seems the perception around the league is that Jason Garrett is confident and cocky to the point he is arrogant. That explains it all, including his lack of adjustments when his game-plans were failing miserably.

Just ask him. He brought it up. I know corby has friends in the organization. So if that is what the hard line was hearing then it holds water.

Just search inmanroshi and race or something. Its on here somewhere!

Not to play armchair psychologist, but this team had way too huge expectations put on it from the draft forward. For the Cowboys to have won the SB this year it would've been like Babe Ruth calling his shot 9 months in advance.

The Boys are a Super Bowl team - IF - and only if, they can be stout on both lines. The DL melted away late in the year, and the OL was too fragile, especially without Kosier.

A solid backup QB wouldn't hurt either.

But the biggest thing has got to be a reset of expectations- by us all.

Winning a playoff game has to be the top goal in '09- and it still may be out of reach.

Run the ball, control the clock, play with a lead so the D can rush with impunity, and you have a recipe for success.

This is not a come-from-behind, win close games kind of team, even though that's the way it was coached last year.

It will be fairly easy to tell how this team will do in 2009.

If we hear the word Super Bowl out of anyone's mouth, we still just do not get it.

Kosier is as valuable to this team as Tony Romo. His loss cost us the Super Bowl. Wait, Kosier was playing in the game against the Giants last year, when the OL collapsed. What was it the Giants started doing that half? Could it be press coverage, getting pressure on Tony Romo, the same thing teams did this year?

Funny how what could have been the successful play of that game was a short-slant to Crayton...

Still waiting on something, ANYTHING, showing this. A link, heck I'd even take a an ed werder story that had an unnamed source as something but would like to see something credible. So far there is NOTHING where TO said or intimated that Garrett is a Racist.

I really wished people would stop saying this as if it were fact.

Please, show me an article or something that gives this ANY credulity.

Its in Czarnecki's article isnt? He's also citing reports from St Louis Post-Dispatch, that Garrett has problems coaching black players.

Czarnecki isnt Mike Florio from the Daily Turd, or even Ed Werder who clearly said some things IMO because he had an axe to grind. Czarnecki is one of the most respected, credible football reporters/writers there is.

I think the point is that this is the first time something like this is coming out...and it's just as much as rumor as anything else reported.

Even that whiz fest of an article by Watkins didn't intimate that. I'd be curious if any of the beat reporters address it.

OK. I re-read the article. NO where does it say that TO said, or intimated that Garrett is a racist. No where. So once again please point out the part of the article that says TO stated this or told people that was the case.

It's not there. He doesn't even say TO started the rumor , he just says it was out there and TO must be "snickering" somewhere. Nothing. He's worse that the hack Werder, who will at least make up sources. This moron doesn't even try, he's a sports version of a hair salon...

Please, show us all up. Go into the article and show us where he proves or even gets close to proving that TO did anything you have decided he did.
