I gotta say something to you WG...and Hos too.

Trolls come around at times and flame and such...One thing that really bothers me is when they gives Mods flak. To me the Mods are like the parents of the board.

When I was a kid I could go to a friends house and we could BS back and forth, dog each other and stuff. But one thing my folks told me and I still belive today is that my friends parents are to always be treated with respect....I hammer that into my kids every day, I feel that kids don't give their elders the same respect anymore.

If a troll wants to come in here and mess with me or others, fine...I know if either of us cross the line you mods will step in.

But, when a troll, or anyone for that matter mess's with a mod. I belive that more respect is due, like my friends parents. This is your house as Mods.

Bottom line, be more respectful to a mod than a user on this board...Grampa Reality probably feels the same way.

The Ranch Report. There are some good users there and some guys I truly respect.

Lil Cook has a habit of taking stuff from here, posting it over there and getting thank yous and pats on the back for it. He doesn't give the posters here the proper credit. In particular he's fond of taking Trickblue's and InmanRoshi's recaps and posting them as his own. Recently he took a post here by WG that was her own opinion and posted it word for word as his own.

Now, I want to say up front, I have no issue with the content being posted over there. That's just sharing with fellow Cowboys fans. I just think it is dead wrong to do it and not give the author proper credit. If you read his comments about recaps he feels it's no big deal to take them.

What set me off is that his post to start this thread gives a poster at the Ranch credit for the idea of the post. In other words he gave a poster there the proper courtesy but stuff he steals from here and takes over there he doesn't. I find that wrong. So do people over there who have called him on it and started letting people know he's stealing without crediting.

Like I said, there's no issue with sharing the info with fellow Cowboys fans. Just give proper credit. Don't act like you did the work and take the bows.

Actually Jarv I don't want to be treated any differently than any other poster. I'm not a Mod out here. Just a guy with opinions. I'm a Mod through PMs if at all possible. I didn't warn Lil Cook because I don't think he crossed any lines or broke any rules. I did jump his butt and I'd do it again. It's a principle. He'd have got some respect from me if he had accepted his call out and acted differently. What he does by stealing other people's credit is straight up punk.

Kinda like your dad when your growing up as a kid, this is my house and while your here you abide by my rules, or leave....You should respect your brothers and sisters in the house, but there word isn't law, your fathers is.
