I just do not want Manningham.......

I am Michigan fan, and I am not crazy about Manningham either. In 2nd round, he would be worth the gamble, but not in 1st. He might be a bit of head case.

I was watching some of the nfl networks coverage today and that cromartie has an insane vertical.

He was just waiting for the ball to be thrown his way and he was going way up to get it. Looked like he has incredible athletic ability and I didnt see him drop anything.

I know nothing about this years draft though, so this kid could be terrible. Just passing along what I saw.

He's a solid 2nd round pick that may see first round with good showing at combine. I may have him as high as 25 on my top 300 board. WIP

He did mention Dennis Thurman... Galloway countered with "How about Ray Rhodes?"

I thought Rodes signed with the Texans

Who is this Cromartie kid?

If you get an opportunity, watch the practices on NFL Network.

IMO, he is the best small school CB to come out since Aeneas Williams.

Do you like him as much or more than Leodis McKelvin from Troy? Or do you not consider Troy also a small school? I said the same thing about small school CBs in 2004 about Richard Colclough too and that kind of came back and hit me in the mouth. I haven't seen Cromartie at all, so I'm curious. As much as I like my local Kid, Antoine Cason, I am liking McKelvin almost as much. His speed is hard to deny.

No, he's the real deal. He was considered a sleeper for awhile, but now he's shooting up charts, such that he might end up being a bubble first rounder. He'll at least go in the first two rounds.

Yeah, I've been watching him and he looks like the best CB out there, and his height, and long legs, don't limit him at all. Before the Bowl, I was hoping him or Cason would be available with our 2nd rd pick. Then, when reports came out that he was practicing at FS, I was really perturbed. But after watching him play CB for myself, I am really impressed. If he had went to a D1 school, he may have been the #1 ranked CB in this draft. As it is, we may need to use one of our #1's if we want to get him. And I want him (no homo).

Reading the Houston Chronicle it sure looks like a done deal with the Texans.
