here is a link..you can listen in for yourself..here are just some of my bullet points

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/draftcountdown

- 12 blue chip players
- talk in dallas is moving down from 9
- I would not move down and get a worse player and possibly lose out on a blue chip prospect

spoke a little bit about players and directions the cowboys could go...rambled on about CB, S, dline..

then Gosselin was blatantly asked if he had to pick 1 player right now..who is dallas taking @ 9 if they do not move down

his answer was BPA..and that probably is Prince

Keep in mind that goose made it very clear that he doesn't get in to specifics w teams..not regarding players they are looking at

Make that a big NO.

I think they would trade down unless there is a chance of PP, Fairley, or Tyron(straight-up). Any one else being the BPA they would trade down a schmidge.

I wouldn't mind Prince at 9 then trade up into the first for an OT.

to me, if you trade up into the first you need to make it for a top guy at his position. a trade up for the 3rd or 4th rated OT doesn't float my boat --- if we trade back into 1 it should be for Pouncey

Unless we get something really good to move, I wouldnt move down from 9.

Ultimately I guess it depends on the grades they have for the players still left when they get on the clock though. If Tyron Smith is head and shoulders above everyone else on their board (especially among OL) then I wouldnt deal down for the lesser player.

I know people have a hate on for Prince, but he's a very good player and from everything I've read, a good guy as well. I know the Blackmon youtube video has spoiled everyone's opinion on him, but the guy's still a very good prospect

I have little faith in Jerry when it comes to trading down.

I'd love to have Pouncey but the immediate need is RT. Of course that also depends on how they feel about Colombo. If he was hurt last year and playing because Barron was so bad then he may still have another year or so left in him. I'm not counting on that and I imagine the Cowboys aren't either.

But in reality you can group this years top OTs into one tier. All we need is a good RT who is serviceable. We can trade back into the first for one. There should be one or two still available in the bottom of the first. Smith may be better than any of the other OTs but a RT only has to be so good to be effective.

I still say trading up for PP and trading up for an OT from the second is a great way to get an impact player and fill the need at RT. There are other ways to get it done as well. Staying put at nine then trading up into the bottom of the first is another way to do it. Prince should be available at nine.

And for clarification there are twelve blue chippers in this draft. However, PP, Miller, Dareus, and Green are in the top tier.

I really don't want Prince at number nine as I think there are much better options if we sit there...

That being said, Prince would certainly have the most unusual jersey in the NFL...

The cornerback formerly known as Prince, you mean. :laugh2:

Darren Woodson the other day said that he thinks Prince compares to Champ Bailey.

Wow. That's high praise.

I can't agree, but still, nice endorsement.

I agree with you. He isn't Champ Bailey, but that is damn high praise!

I'm not sure he will compare to Champ, but I believe he will be a really good player.

I watched Prince play a lot at Nebraska and I don't really have a problem with the guy other then he doesn't really catch the ball that well. I saw him drop a few that I thought he probably should have caught but other then that, he played well when I saw him.

The other thing about Amukamara is that he might actually be a Safety. I would not be surprised if some teams projected him there.

Prince will be on GameChanger NFL network next Tuesday with Mooch.

We can see how he is and make a better decision for ourselves.

Thanks for posting.

Like Mayock, folks act like whatever Gosselin says is good as gospel.
