SS = Sean Salisbury
MG = Mike Greenburg
Golic = Mike Golic

MG: Confidence picks at QB?

SS: I would put them in this order:
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Brett Favre

SS: Peyton Manning after a week all and nobody is talking about them so he may have a huge game

SS: I think the Giants have the biggest chance on the road.

SS: I am big on momentum and time off and the Cowboys had too much time off

MG: Romo vs Eli?

SS: I am going with Eli. It is amazing how his personality has changed.

Golic: He is standing a little taller

SS: Tony is being chippy witht he media. Held his head down against the Commanders. Eli has alot of confidence. Tony is saying "you guys" and people do that when they are mad. I am not comfortable with his attitude, needs to get back to laughing and joking.

MG: Give Marion Barber the ball

SS: I make sure Marion Barber spends 3 days in the Jacuzzi after the game (because he carried it so much). Is there a bigger beast in the NFL than him? He is like Larry Johnson a couple of years ago. Will they give Marion Barber the ball, that is the question? If they are throwing it 30 times, you gotta favor the Giants, Marion Barber needs the football.

MG: I think the AFC Home teams will win easily. I would be suprised if it is a game with 5 minutes to go in those games.

MG: 1 Road NFC Team will win this weekend

I know this is sacrilegious but I do feel Tony Romo needs to relax and stop being somewhat "hostile" towards the media.

Yes, they are asking you questions that he feels is totally irrelevant and very redundant, but he cannot let the media get to him and force him to transform into something he is not.

Like Bill Parcells, the guy has to understand the media game and not get annoyed and sucked into their "gotcha" game.

I saw part of Mike and Mike and one of them had Eli over Romo. Its amazing Elil has a couple decent games and they are anointing him. Romo has been blowing teams away and gets no credit....oh well....Flaver of the Month.

It is gonna be so funny to hear these people backtracking after the Cowboys win by nearly 30 on Sunday.

"Oh, maybe he should go to Mexico more often..."

Maybe Eli should go to Mexico. He wins his first playoff game in four years and everyone's all over his nuts.

easy to say. his personal life is being scruitinized. what he does in his own time should be irrelavent. Hell, I used get chippy when my own family would dip in my business and worried about how I was dating. the media talks about distractions, hell, they create them. They should be saying, "hey tony, your play down the stretch leaves a lot to be desired, care to comment on that?" no, they want to lust over Jessica Simpson.

For being under attack by the media like he was i'd say he handled it more than well.

As long as he is the same with the team on the field, how he reacts to the media does not matter at all.

I agree. I know his comebacks are witty, but I'm sure there's something to it, like it's getting to him but he's just playing it off in jabbing back.

This game is huge because there is something to having the "monkey on your back." IF we lose Sunday, coupled with the way we lost in Seattle last year and two consecutive December swoons, it will just make that "monkey" even bigger.

As good as Peyton Manning is, it's something that dogged him in the postseason all those years until last season. And did anyone notice Norv on the sidelines last week? He was about to lose it - you could tell that all that pressure of not winning in the postseason and the pressure the Chargers had on them with going one and done last year was totally in his head.

This game isn't just about Romo, but it's huge because we can't afford to go one and done and have this hang over him and the team for an entire year.

Its funny already.

Its easy bashing us during the week but when the ball gets kicked off and our team takes the field the media will remember real quick why we are the #1 seed.

Perfect example of that....

On inside the nfl 3 weeks ago, chris carter and Dan Marino said tampa would beat whoever they host in the wild card game and then go to Dallas and win, then advance to the superbowl because of their vet qb and great defense.

then 2 weeks ago, they said washington were playing the best football in the nfc and because of their emotion and their qb they couldnt be stopped and would beat seattle and then win in Dallas and maybe make the playoffs.

Now last night on the show carter and marino both said the giants would beat Dallas and maybe make the superbowl because of their qb and how good their defense was playing.

So apparently no matter who Dallas plays we dont have a chance. That is just the way it is going to be, if we win this week I assume next week everyone will just pick seattle/green bay because of their qb and defense.

its funny none of them ever talk about our defense, and marino acted shocked last week collinsworth suggested Demarcus ware for DPOY, as if he didnt even belong in the conversation.

The only thing Salisbury knows about QB play is that he couldn't do it!.

I really think so.

I think our own fans are going to be blown away when we take the field.

ABD. Anyone But Dallas.

In fairness, they do the same thing with New England, just always looking for that team that's going to knock them off. That's what happens when you're the "lead dog". I told my local Skins fans last week how they were going to lose to the Seahawks, as they were busy telling me how Dallas wanted no part of Washington. We've seen these teams rise and fall all year long. NY, GB, MIN, WAS, now NY again. The tale is always the same, while the "lead dog" beats all those teams and finishes out at 13-3. The other teams ride emotion, or a strong streak for awhile. The lead dog is just flat out better - and it almost always ends up showing.

I told a skins fan here at work that I would not be surprised by a blowout if TO is healthy and he looked at me like I was crazy.

We are not getting much credit for the season we have had.....

So be it.

Its kinda like all these people who say the Pats are the best team ever and could beat the 90's Cowboys.

Its easy to say that until that 90's Cowboys team steps onto the field.

Then your kinda like oh, yeah, I forgot just how good these guy were.
