ware is doing ok and seems to be better

we have a new kicker and we will keep romo as the holder, since having a new kicker, i want everything to go well with the new kicker

we respect the Commanders, we know them nad they know us

your not going to kick real long field goals in fed ex stadium

romo didnt say that at all; we went for it on fourth down, that was my decision, actually we waited to long and im not happy about that

i thought percentage was better we could make 4th and 4

i think i have done those situations most of time going for it and getting the 4th down

we thought we had a play, i conversed with jason, and he told me what he had and we did, and we converted

um, did i say there is no injury report today, on some player that a media guy asked about, wade seemed perturbed that some guy asked about injury report when wade said there was no one on injury report basically to report

with kevin we really pushed him hard, even on scout team to show how hard and important it is to play, even when kevin was on scout team he didnt play well and we had a talk to him and he played better

he has played and alternated on some downs, he is a good football player and if you watch him the whole time he plays now

he is still working on field goal part and suisham kicked well today, but back to buehler he is working on field goal attempts,, back to suisham he kicked well with wind today, and he is familar with the fed ex surronnding, so thats why we went with him

the skins are one of the best pass defensive teams, they execute well defensively especially against the pass

no, i didnt watch the game last night, but i will go over with them on the game on what to watch for and be ready for

jerry jones did watch the game last night by the way if anyone is interested

We need a holder too?

yes will be romo holding,
wade said basically he doesnt want to go back to mcbrair because of the problems with his holding

best i remember romo held for suisham, so there is famaliraity there

Hold on a minute. Out next opponent is on national TV last night and our head coach has something better to do than watch them? I know they can record it and watch it whenever but in that situation, I picture the entire coaching staff siting around a big screen watching the game and taking notes and talking about the gameplan.

They have better things to do than sit through commercials.

to me wade should have watched them too, i remember when jimmy johnson and tom landry would watch those type of games

thats why i question wade alittle

so as head coach of the dallas cowboys your too good to sit through a game and see what is going on so you might be able to prepare or do something to the opposing team your fixing to play

to me, when a head coach doesnt do that, he really isnt a head coach

thats why he fails sometimes, to him the dallas cowboys are that important for big games coming up

Actually, Wade didn't say he didn't watch it... Hill asked if he wished his players hadn't seen it. And he said no, that they were going to watch it anyway, and they'd gone over play in film study today.

Or I should say, I watched the whole thing and I don't think he says that. The very end of the PC is when he's discussing it.

And the Kevin is Ogletree. Interesting that at first he was "just out there" on scout team and wasn't flashing his full ability like he had in preseason. They "had a talk with him" and he started to do better.

i thought wade did say he didnt watch it, maybe i misheard it,
sometimes when your busy typing you miss things, but im sure wade said he didnt watch the skins game monday night but would be sure that the players would be made aware to watch it and what to be ready for

Your whole arguement is ridiculous...what they see on the actual game film is 100 times better than the view that is shown on TV.

They watch the coaches copy.. ie, high definition - no commercials - and lots of angles...

I am actually glad Wade didnt watch it, that way the 7-6 game is still fresh in his memory. If he had watched that joke franchise last night he would be rolling on the floor laughing his arse off!!!

The Skins are an embarrassement to the league at this point, I have seen 1 win Div 3 schools put up more of a fight than the Skins did last night. However, I dont want Wade or our players over confident and think they can just roll the helmet out there and get an automatic W.

We need to punch the Skins in the mouth early and they will fold like a cheap suit.

i disagree, you see things sometimes on the sidelines, sometimes in game situations if you watch the game, you see those things as a head coach or even as a player, most players will tell you that they watch those type of games to see little things, that might go unnoticed

i do agree with you that the film the coaches get is awhole lot better, but you still see things when you watch the game live, so then when you get the film you can break it down even futher

i made such a note on this board on a kansas city game, where a giants player jumped over an offensive linemen who kept his head down in the game, so what did happen when we played the chiefs, coach joe d saw the same thing and had ratliff prepared and ready to jump over that same offensive linemen

and what happened was a blocked field goal by jay ratliff that we recovered and resulted in points later in a cowboys drive

thats where i disagree with you too, could be that if we get into the playoffs that we have to play the giants in a certain scenario

if wade had watched the game he might have seen some things he could do against the giants

You never, NEVER overlook an upcoming opponent, you prepare and leave no stone unturned. You use all avenues of media, film, etc, just like one year jimmy johnson was preparing for a super bowl match against the bills, and jimmy was flipping through the channels and saw a clip of jim kelly throwing a shuffle pass to thurman thomas

jimmy called the defensive coordinator immediately and told him to go back all year and see if on tape that the bills had used the shuttle pass before, sure enough they didnt and jimmy got the cowboys ready for such a play

what happened, the cowboys had prepared leon lett and he stripped thomas of the ball after the shuttle pass, and was a big big turnover for us

this is the time of year that the head coach should be soley concentrating on the upcoming games and preparing as Head Coach

again, i may have misunderstood wade and wade did see the game, but from what i heard, wade did not watch the game

to me as head coach and getting near playoff times and big games coming up, wade should be soley concentrating on the Dallas Cowboys, PERIOD!

He didn't say he didn't watch it anyway.

Hill: "Do you wish your players wouldn't have watched that game last night?"
Wade: "No... No. They're going to watch it anyway. We watched it again today, and told them what to look for... (etc)".

I understand that it's hard to hear the questions live, depending on which source you're listening to.

thanks, i misunderstood then, sometimes i do, because like you say, sometimes reception isnt good since im 166 miles from dallas etc and im busy typing to

when im wrong i admit it

so thanks for clearing it up for me;

makes me feel alittle better about wade then, i want him eating, sleeping, dreaming dallas cowboys football and nothing else

this is soley the right time to prepare and get your team ready to play

like jimmy johnson said once, i hate to lose and so should you;
