ask the hundreds of thousands that play NCAA sports if they are going to be happy to watch their sports disappear.

The colleges have plenty of money to keep those sports if they want. They have billions of dollars in endowment funds. Time for the colleges to start spending the money.

you are sadly mistaken. I think you are a little confused and think all Universities are the same.

Is my University of Pittsburgh any different from the rest? My alma mater has an endowment fund of $4.3 billion dollars. I think they can afford to keep any sport they want with just the interest earned on that type of money.

Once you have players making money, the sport is no longer amateur and so falls under employment, right to earn a living laws.

Surely this means the 4 year eligibility rule is gone? Any player who is enrolled - even on a part time basis is eligible?

Will we see players having 10-15 year NCAA football careers?

Will we see ex-NFL players who didnt stick in the NFL.long term returning to college football?
