His 4.53 40 yard dash vs the outside 4.3 WR on every team, needless to say White could be in for a long day .. if he ever sees the field on Sunday.

Yes, in the running game he tends to avoid contact, but in the passing game he will mix it up quite well with big WRs.
I watched a few of his games leading up to the draft and came away very unimpressed. He hates contact and could not tackle me.
That was what I took away from the videoHopefully, Awuzie isn't Goodrich and Lewis isn't Larrimore.
He played man in the games that I watched.Tackling is average, he appears willing enough. But he is a soft zone corner which kind of defeats his size advantage.
Played for a big time program, kids got good size, with an elevated athletic ceiling ability , but Ive also heard that he never is the first guy in on tackles, lays back a bit.I think they want to use him as a big WR coverage specialist or even use him to cover TEs. Many of the big WRs are not super fast. Dez, Brandon Marshall, etc..
He has some interesting traits. He does occasionally go all in on tackles, but generally will let others make the tackle if that's an option. He didn't have a good forty time but I didn't see any problem with his speed on the field. He is definitely raw as a football player compared to Awuzie and Lewis.Played for a big time program, kids got good size, with an elevated athletic ceiling ability , but Ive also heard that he never is the first guy in on tackles, lays back a bit.
I don't know if that is true or not, I want to see how he looks in camp, but I like how he can play up in coverage, and face the QB,,, down hill zone, that's Ms scheme DBs.
We have a nice compliment of DBs extracted from this draft, helping all sub packages, hybrids... means less substitutions.
That's where the advantage comes in, multitaskers all over, major disguise element, and just opens up yours options more without exposing your intent.
Nice mix of young prospects now With Chido, Jourdan Lewis, Xavier Woods, and Marquez White,,, man I just love reminding myself of those names everyday.

No, he played plenty of press man. He did play a lot of off man also, but I didn't see much pure zone. They did use the 2 man zone at times when there were 2 WRs on his size but you almost have to mix some zone in there; otherwise, the offence will run pick plays on you all day. When he did play man, it was way off and he was using bail technique.
