Recommendation for Draft Chat

I have put the old chat interface online under a different URL. If you are having trouble with the current chat, you can try it:

http://cowboyszone.com/chat/old.html

Keep in mind that this is the EXACT chat page that was there before the upgrade. You will get license/signed warnings which is why I upgrade the chat because it is pointing to the wrong domain.

That said, the upgrade only changed the domain where it pointed, nothing else. All issues that anyone are having are java related, not chat or CowboysZone related.

HEY! the old link worked! Yeah, I knew it wasn't a CowboysZone related problem. It was an OLD OLD laptop problem. Glad you have the workaround for decrepit machinery.

As am I. I knew Reality would have a fix if there was one to be found. I also knew that the day wil come that the old laptop I bought for 50 bucks back in 2008 would officially become a brick, but I'm glad it's not the NFL draft weekend. I just checked and it's a 2003/4 model, so that IS old. the battery already doesn't hold any juice, but it still works as long as it's plugged in.

As I mentioned, I literally only use it for chats during Cowboys games and the Draft. Pretty funny to have a machine for just that and it's to a point where new version of software (browsers, OS and java) are no longer compatible with it.

Nice to see CowboyZone is backwards compatible even beyond the point of obsolescence.... just so I can freak out in the company of other Cowboy fans when Dallas finally makes a pick tonight.

Glad it worked out. I have an old computer I use at times that continuously tells me to update this and that and I can't use anything newer.
