Redesigned helmets

I think the Commanders redesign is inspired, the Bucs is only ok, and the Patriots is embarrassing.

lame, dont fix whats not broke.

The Commanders is broke.

The Bucs helmet idea looks cool.

The Pats helmet makes me dizzy. Good design for a flag. Bad design for a helmet.

I kinda like the Commanders one but the Bucs and Patriots ones are not very good at all.

The Patriots' helment design makes me think Captain America, a comic book I read when I was a kid. Pretty juvenile.

All horrible and not the right type of design style for the NFL or sports in general.

I agree with the article that the Redsk*ns design needs a redo. I personally like the one they did as a throwback with the spear... similar to the FSU design.

I like the Bucs redesign they proposed. Much better than what they use now.

The Patriots design looked like it was out of the 1970s. That was a pretty funny line about it looking like John Kerry, though.

Skins looks horrible, but would fit the product they have been putting on the field the last several years.

Bucs looks awesome. I love it, even better than their current one.

Pats looks, well, like they mugged Super Dave Osborne and stole his crash helmet.

Arent the Browns named after Paul Brown, their original owner and founder?

Since he also founded the Bengals, I am going out on a limb and saying that orange was his or his wife's favorite color.

"However, the absolutely best team helmet belongs to the Cincinnati Bengals. "

Can't take this guy serious.

Yeah, make the Commanders helmet look just like the Eagles helmet.

All of those choices are FAIL.

I like the current helmets far more than those.

I'm pretty sure that I saw Evel Knievel wearing that helmet at some point in his career.

Try again. Like Super Dave. LOL

I agree with the guy. The helmet fully encompasses the Bengals' motif and at the same time isn't garish. He's not saying which helmet is your favorite...he's speaking in terms of principles of design.
