I bet the cowboys would have picked Bosa if he was available at 4,he is going to be a dominant player.

This looks right to me.

fwiw, I don't think Prescott would the 2nd pick. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but if here were drafted by Cleveland, and then forced to start after RG3 and McCown got injured, he probably wouldn't look as good. If he were taken by Rams and forced to start, it would be even worse. He's playing well with the best o-line and best running game, he certainly was no game manager last week, but I don't think 6 games quite over rides the entire scouting process. He'd go in the first, probably top half of the first, but I don't think 2nd.

I agree in principle that Dallas is a great place for Dak, but Dak was going to be a very good NFL player in almost any system. His ability to read the field and make the right decision so quickly is really, really impressive. The mechanics and the accuracy improvements are going to come, but most guys just can't make the reads fast enough. He doesn't have Wentz' cannon, but he doesn't really need it.

This is the ability Tony was talking about before the draft when he said, when the time comes, he'd help Jerry find the next guy. They just found it a year or two earlier than Tony was probably expecting.

Nope.

Wentz doesn't have anything like this offensive line, this running back, or these receivers. He would do much better here than he is in Philly.
He might not get an OL like this for a while with all the picks they gave up to get him.

Felt bad for him in a weird way.

Dallas really wanted Wentz, which is why Philly gave the farm to go get him. Hilarious that we got a good one anyway for 1/10th the price. LOL
So did I but I will take Zeke and Prescott over Wentz any day.

I think he'd go 2nd because of the sheer need at QB in Philly.

Dallas got a 4th comp pick and turned that into their QB of the future.

Philly traded a bajillion picks, the Liberty Bell, and its soul to the devil to get to No. 2 to take a ever-so slightly better QB in Wentz.

Then Dallas took the best RB in the league for 10 years two picks later.

Joy.

We're talking pure fantasy here but if every team could do the draft over with everything we've seen the first 6 games I don't believe Dak would make it past the top 15 picks based on the need several teams currently have at QB. We've seen how a players stock can rise just over workouts but to actually get to see a player perform at an extremely high level during regular season games would make their stock skyrocket. Not many teams would like a do over more than Cleveland who's gone through several QBs this season. They would stay put with a do over and take Wentz or Dak. The Jets at 1-5 are having to go back to Geno Smith, they would take Dak in the first round easily. The Bears would go after Dak with Cutler just about done in Chicago.

Denver would have gone after Dak instead of trading back in the first round for Lynch who didn't show much when he got his opportunity. Miami isn't going anywhere with Tannehill, they could have drafted Dak in the first round and traded Tannehill. The same with JAX, Bortles has shown some potential but he turns the ball over too much and they aren't getting anywhere with him. They could have drafted Dak and traded Bortles. Dak looks every bit like a franchise QB and he's what teams love, a duel threat. The draft would play out so much differently with Goff not even seeing the field yet and the outstanding play of Wentz and Dak. Goff's stock has plummeted since the draft while Wentz's has gone even higher and Dak's has skyrocketed.

I wouldn't write off Goff so quickly.......Fisher didn't give him a chance but his arm talent is real

They want to open their billion dollar stadium with a face of the franchise QB and that will still be pretty boy Goff.....sitting the rookie used to be the norm

Maybe PHI trades up to one with TENN and still takes Wentz
DAL would have to go up and get Dak from CLE at 2
LA stays put and takes Goff at 15

too many variables.....I love the way it turned out

Receivers? The great Terrance Williams and Coke Beasley. Whatever

Reasonable but I think Dak has overtaken Wentz and would be taken ahead of him.

Talk to me end of NEXT season and we will have a better idea

Too early to anything at present except that both have been really good so far

Fisher is doing the right thing with Goff

Let him sit this year and learn
If he does not start next year then there will be cause for concern

you're probably right, but I think he goes a lot higher than either you or I thought he would.

No way. He's a QB. With this success he vaults straight to the top of the board. He just wouldn't go 1st.

Let's re-visit this in 3 years. A lot can and will change.
