Redzone rushing stats

The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. And we all know the redzone is a different beast than the rest of the field.
Agree here, but isn't THAT when you come up with a design play that counter balence's what your setting the defense up to THINK your doing? Remember that shuttle pass to Dez, who then passed it to Witten for a score in 16? THAT was out of the box play calling.... haven't seen that one since.

You guys worry too much about rushing inside the redzone. PFF (or was it 538?) did a study of how successful rushes in this area are, and it was pretty telling in that in most cases it's a wasted down. I'm not upset if they do it just to keep the defense honest but if we're not on at least the 2 yard line, I'd rather throw it.

I'm talking about keep running run plays in the redzone despite the known issues that we have with certain players at this time.

I can't fathom why EzE hasn't had multiple games with 2 TD? Doesn't make any sense to me.

(Attempts)

Inside the 20

1. Gurley (64)
2. Barkley (50)
8. Zeke (39)

Inside the 10

1. Gurley (36)
2. Kamara (33)
12. Zeke (22)

Inside the 5

1. Gurley (18)
2. Barkley (16)
18. Zeke (10)

If we want to have any success this post season it might be a good idea to remember our best player when it matters most, not just outside the 20.
what was degree of success in those attempts...... that's key, not just the number of attempts....
