How dose everyone think the officiating was for the Dallas/Philly game?

We still had a chance to tie it up at the end but even though it probably did not cost us the game I thought it was questionable at best...

Seems many have lost sight of it because of Bledsoes idiot mistakes but I thought Philly could have been called for pass interference and holding all game long.

I still don't get the silly rule they have where if a defensive lineman 'runs through the hold', it doesn't count.

Anyway, I don't want to complain much about officiating...there are always a few questionable calls in any sport (Superbowl or NBA Finals this year), but the main thing is to not be in a position where an official can decide the game for you.

i agree and I dont really feel the game was decided by them but on several plays the defensive guy hit the receiver before the ball got there and I thought there was a lot of holding by Philly...

Plus I still wonder about the Flea flicker now I know it went for a TD anyways but was the flag thrown for defensive holding just in case.
If holding trully happened I would have thought Fox would have been all over it showing us the culprit but they never did.

Watkins was called for holding, Fox showed it but it made no difference on the play. Odd though, all Aikman kept mentioning was how Williams should have intercepted the ball.

I actually thought the officiating was somewhat decent tonight. Usually we get screwed big time when we got to philly, Wash, or NY (bogus PI calls, holds on plays that go for big yardage, calling TDs back, ala Jax game).

Bledslow and Parcells cost us this game, not the refs for once

I also think that the refs missed a couple holding calls against Philly. But in the end we got beat on all those BIG plays that they connected on and we missed on.

Well, there's no doubt that Trotter plowed right into Witten in the end zone before Bledsoe threw his last interception. If that's not illegal contact, I'd like to know why. And no, I'm not blaming the referees for the loss. I'd just like to know why it wasn't called.

As would I. Sure looked like illegal contact to me, he was about 2 yards deep in the end zone if I recall (well beyond the 5 yards from the line of scrimmage) and when Bledsoe threw to the spot that Witten was supposed to be, Witten was nowhere to be found.

I know on the non flee flicker bomb I seen Ware getting held big time,then it was funny because they showed a different camera angel and YOU coulnt see the holding.I also thought that our receivers were getting hit early by that crappy rookie.
But then again I did see Glenn holding on the Bledsoe qb touchdown.So I guess it worked both ways,they say they can call holding on just about everyplay in the NFL,its a matter of if they want to

It was probably subpar. Trotter definitely had illegal contact on Witten on the last INT. I find it odd that Witten can't catch a break down there as last year a Seattle defender grabbed Witten and slung him to the ground and they threw the flag and then picked it up. Then they call a push off on Witten in the JAX game which was questionable and now that. Even still, I wasn't too confident that the offense behind Bledsoe would score in OT.

There weren't too many missed holds by my account, although they did miss 2 in a row on consecutive plays. Also, I'd like to see what exactly Jay Ratliff was penalized for in excessive celebration. My thoughts were it's really too hard for a defensive player to get an excessive celebration when he virtually had nothing to do with the play, unless he was taunting. But if he was taunting, they should've said so. Would've been nice for FOX to show this.

I'm not saying the refs cost Dallas the game. It just seems like in these big, televised games....especially road games...that the refs just make enough bad, crucial calls that go against Dallas. Really aggravating after awhile.

I saw a lot of potential penalties that we didn't get. I also saw us getting away with them also. That's just how it is. Win some, lose some.

Both teams could have been flagged all day long for holding.

Regardless, the officiating didn't make us lose, we did that.
