I'm just throwing this out. Doesn't mean anything other than it's a story but...

I worked on American Ninja Warrior for a year and a producer on the show would always be in the production trailer on her computer and always on a Steeler website she proudly told everyone was private and had to be invited. She talked about going to games and the Super Bowl and how she gets on the sideline, blah, blah, blah.

Anyhow, I asked her if she was from Pittsburgh, she said yeah, her whole family was from there, generational season ticket holders. I asked her how she got on the sideline for games...

"Oh, my dad is an NFL official."

Realistically, teams should stop looking for cheap penalties in desperate situations. Long snappers always pick up and move the ball - you have to in order to get the right grip.

It should never be a penalty. The call against LP was asinine.

The Steelers were jumping offsides all game... they figured only half would get called and they were right

The FGs were a perfect example of having nothing to lose.....the tried to ice the SD kicker but the Steeler actually jumped past the Kicker he was so far offsides

Sadly, each crew is human and they have different tolerances for certain penalties. That said the call was silly.
