i'm not usually into conspiracy theories, but i cant help but notice that the refs this year are affecting the outcome of games. more so than in years past. we have the Detroit TD, the miles TD, the two bogus celebration calls on us, Harrison knocking out two players with head hits and no flag, and if you saw the Texans game you cant tell me you dont find anything fishy with calling PI on flowers when it was clear Johnson pushed off.

i cant help but think that with the lock out coming next year that the refs are trying to make some money on the side to counter balance what they will lose next year. these guys aren't athletes or coaches or owners they cant afford to be out of work like the rest of the guys in the league that will be affected.

i may be way off base but i think it is very possible considering not only our situation but the fact that after 6 weeks of football we have so much controversy already. almost as much as the whole season last year. just something to think about the rest of the season

Harrison knocking two players heads off?

Do you not know the rules? When it's a run, it doesn't matter what hits what. On the Massaquoi hit, he hit him with his forearms and knocked the ball away. It just looked bad. It's football. It's not a patty cake game. It's violent.

do they get paid by the call???

The refs will go back to their 9-5 jobs with a smile on their faces during the lockout. They will clock some OT on weekends and not look back, maybe catch a round of golf on Sundays.

One of them was a running back. Actually it was Cribbs but he was running the ball from the Wildcat. It doesn't matter if there is helmet contact with the ball carrier.

Ok, ok.

Yes! The referees are out to get the Cowboys! I mean why should they call penalties when they commit one?! Boo ****ing hoo.

You don't blame the Cowboys for getting an excessive celebration penalty a week after getting an excessive celebration penalty?

I think those penalties suck and are complete crap but if this team was coached worth a crap, you wouldn't have had the second penalty. Basically lost a game, in part, due to that penalty and then they come back the next week and make the same penalty.

Yeah, officials are out to make a buck.

How about the dozens of other plays each game that really determine the outcome?

Turnovers and such? They forcing those too?

I think you need to wear one of those hats made out of aluminum so aliens can't read your mind.

Dude! Come on now! I also think that the refs are a little biased against certain teams, but, what about the players are just to damn undisaplined to not make penalties?

Did the refs make Austin reach out with his right arm? No...and Austin did not even need to do that...he would have scored anyway. Stupid..

Did Roy and Hurd REALLY need to make a big deal in the endzone after a TD to cause a ref to throw the flag? If this were my team, no celebration would go on after a score. Let them come to the sideline and have a circle jerk all they want...but not on the field!

Do the refs make Jenkins try and grab anything that come close to him lately? No...

How about Witten jumping offsides, or any other oline doing it? No...I could go on and on, but I know you know what I mean.

Stupid people make stupid mistakes, and this team is stupid to the bone! And, I have a sneaky idea of who's fault that is...and it's not the refs. And if it is, why does the team even give them something to watch out for!

And, what does calling a flag have to do with the refs making more money!!

Im not defending the Colombo call. It was pathetic.

However, if they call that and the President of officiating comes out and says it was the right call, I'd make damn sure there are no more celebrations.

Cool, we don't need refs anyhow. From now on, just like pickup games we will all call our own fouls.

We'd be 5-0.

have you ever played the game before? it is a GAME. it is supposed to be FUN. scoring is hard, it is something to be excited about. if you really thing two players standing still and holding up the hook em sign is "making a big deal" then you need to go watch what some other players do in the endzone. or maybe you forgot when TO was here?

yes some are on us but some are really bad calls, things that happen every play in every game, and some are just crap calls like both celebration calls and a defensive PI when it was clearly offensive PI in the houston game, and taking away the TD in the lions game(every WR in the nation knows thats a catch)
