refs preparing for lock out?

One of them was a running back. Actually it was Cribbs but he was running the ball from the Wildcat. It doesn't matter if there is helmet contact with the ball carrier.

Actually it was a foul. Harrison used the crown of his helmet to "lead" for the tackle in which he directly hit the runner in the head.

or effecting the spread to win their bet or any number of things you can bet on

I'm just going to go ahead and let you amuse yourself...you're young.

I did not play the game...I'm only 8 years old! I will play it when I grow up.

Yeah, the refs are making money by throwing games.

You go, dude!

They threw a flag for it?

just saying you wouldnt allow celebration at all makes you sound like you never played, cause if you played you know how exciting it is when you have worked your *** off all week beside your teammates who become like brothers and the joy it causes when you or your team succeeds.

they should be able to celebrate, but now our best player who always makes plays and always celebrates and smiles all the time and gets our team pumped, says he will never celebrate again and that is just sad

You know what, my friend?

I actually like it when a player scores a TD, give the ball to the ref, and acts like he's "been there, done that" then goes to the sideline and celebrates with his team. Why stand in the endzone and make yourself look bigger than the game?

And, after roy's second TD...when he turned to Austin to celebrate, Austin shook his head, "No..."...then he just shook Roys hand and they went to the sideline. Nothing the refs can do about that...and that is a smart thing to do if you think the refs are biased against us.

I do know what you mean, dude. But, something has to change with this team because I think they are either too high on themselves, or they are not disaplined by the coaches.

Remember back when, when Bennett missed something during a training camp and Wade had to tell him..."I'm sorry, Bennett, but, I'm going to have to fine you $100.00"...you think that scares the players?

;)

Something is not right...and it's not the refs trying to make money like you suggested. I think you are just as confused as the rest of us for why this team just really sucks right now. I feel your pain...

How did this thread get this long? They are preparing for a lockout by stashing cash like everybody else.

hey i agree there is something wrong with the team but im talking league wide. im pissed about the team and calls against them but it is not like i dont notice stuff going on around the league. im not saying im right but i cant help but think why there would be so much going on around the league with the refs just 6 weeks in.

Me either...but, you can pick and choose from all kinds of stuff about why things happen.

But, don't let something manifest in your head that the refs are trying to make money from calling penalities. Don't give the opportunity to call them, then they can't. And I'm only talking about the Cowboys. The rest of the NFL team can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

;)

We've probably seen games over the years that were fixed by compromised officials, but it would be so easy to pull off in the NFL, where you can throw a flag on every play, that no one would ever be able to pinpoint exactly when it happens.

Here's a (long) lecture from an ex mob boss who used to fix matches in all sports, both collegiate and pro. The first seventeen minutes are mostly his background.

Here's an article where he briefly mentions NFL officials.

Like I said, there's no way to know when it happens unless you're on the inside. My guess is that most games are square, but we wouldn't be able to spot the rigged games just by watching them. With this much money involved, it's naive to think that corruption doesn't find its way in.

That is a fair statement...but, if that does happen? Who is that on?

Roger Goodell? It's his job to be the Head Honcho.

(i cannot believer i just said goodell is a head honcho...i just do not like the guy)
