Yes. I've never seen it worse. But it isn't just about the Cowboys. Did you see the phantom hold call on Suh during Philly's failed two point try?

The refs didn't even matter in the philly game. The Eagles wanted it more and the Lions got blown out of the game in the 4th QTR.

In the cleveland game, they got screwed. Definitely wasn't PI

Worst call of the day was in the Bengals/Colts game. The refs gave the Bengals a TD on 4th down when it was clear the RB was down short of the goal line. It is one thing to miss the call on the field, but the ref still made the wrong call after watching the replays. Just a horrible call. I'm seeing too many of them in every NFL game I watch. Not all of them are so called "game changers", but they are the wrong calls. It needs to get better.

Or the phantom PI call against the Browns that gifted another to Brady?

Yes, it looked every down blocking by both players. The refs got nervous when Philly was down and floundering so had to get them a quick score ....

Irony is that it didn't matter in the end as another Indoor team suffered the fate of a cold weather venue and sloppy field conditions

I wonder what is going on that is causing all the crappy calls?

It has been consistently bad all year in almost every game for all teams.

Did anybody see the Ravens final drive against Minnesota? A horrible pass interference call negated a Vikings interception and Baltimore went on to score the winning TD with under 10 seconds left. These calls are literally impacting the outcome of games. I don't have the answers, but something has to be done. Now.

It is obvious the league doesn't take the role of officiating as serious as it needs to be. That is how they ended up with scab officials last season. It is why they are only part time guys. It is an important part of the game and deserving of full time officials.

On a bright note, the ref got it right when that Stealer stepped out of bounds.:D

Kraft must pay a lot of people. I don't how many close games they have won this year. Total BS call.

How would full time refs make a difference? It's not like these calls are a result of them not knowing the rules, they're just calling stuff that they're not seeing, and not calling stuff that is right in front of their eyes.

League has to do something about it, or it will soon become the WWE.

Happens week after week.

How about right before that in the same series where the refs extended the drive by calling a roughing the passer call on Detroit on an incomplete pass...ridiculous...he was about a half step from Foles when he threw the ball, not 2+ strides....what a joke the refs have become

Yes, but apparently didn't notice that it was a forward pass that got the ball to Brown in the first place.

I think the refs are more active because the NFL tells them to be tight on the calls, to control the game, and keep the players focused on not hurting each other. I think it is the NFL's way of telling the players, "we are watching your every move and if it is even might be a penalty, we are calling it."

I think there also should be a, "did it effect the outcome of the play?" discussion and ruling on any holding call, offense or defense. If there is not even a remote chance that it effected the play, pick up the flag. Similar to the "uncatchable" view of pass interference.
