Every year I get excited about the new season. I listen to and read all the talk from Jerry and the coaches and players and as usual I am disappointed. After all it’s been how many years? Last year I refused to get excited and they actually had a good year until they stumbled in the first round. So it’s a wait-and-see approach for me!

There’s nothing to be excited about this year on a team level unless the OL turns into the 90s again

depends who we play and how good the team is going in. Either way making the playoffs is nothing to be sad about.

It's not crying, it's just accepting reality. This team isn't a SB contender until they actually prove they can win more than a playoff game. They haven't been able to do that in 25 years. Not sure why people should be confident that this year is going to be different.

Looking forward to the college season to see if any QBs are worthy of moving up and trading away any and all except a handful of players to get him. Then and only then will the Boys have a shot at another title. We need a great QB to overcome JJs insanity.

I havent heard anyone say any different. In fact, most are doom and gloomers. IF you think we are making the playoffs, whats your problem? Disappointment comes when you think you have a SB contender we fall on our face.

31 teams fail every football season. Only the Superbowl winner has a successful season. The goal is to win a Superbowl championship, everything else is a failure.

The only exception I may give is to rebuilding teams.

As long as you know , not everybody feels that way , then cool.

Some of us (Me) do not roll all of my expectations into a damn Super Bowl. It would be nice but that means I'll be Disappointed more times than not.

Let me get this straight. The Cincinnati Bengals fans are pissed because they lost the super Bowl ? 49ers fans are pissed at them ? The Chiefs ? Bills ?If so , to hell with them. Don't like fair weather people. I doubt if NFL players are any different

Worst Division, easiest schedule, but it’s all negated by an old OL, below average QB1, a decimated WR corps, no kicker, run-challenged defense, fat puppet coach, and a FO that’s the laughingstock of the NFL…

So where does that leave us? Should we even bother to watch? Should we be embarrassed? Apologize? Be sad?

Guys like Dak just don't have the talent to make the throws needed to win big games. We see it every year and everyone else gets the blame because Dak throttles the WFT or the Eagles they think he is capable of playing like that with pressure in his face. He is used to 6 sec to pass not 4 sec.
