Refusing to Panic

Well there's no place to go from here but up. :)

Unless the earth opens up and swallows the whole team up which would only be a little bit farther down.

pretty hard to write this off as just "any loss"
That's not the point... We've lost 5 times this season. After every loss, the board is like this.

We are still in 1st place. The world hasn't ended yet. It is more of well, we stopped playing after Julius scored that 1st td. The Saints got on a roll, and basically our defense stopped playing. Romo, still no matter what we say, is inexperienced. We all said he needed a game like this, well he's got it now. Let the Saints enjoy this win. They wanted it more than us obviously. But we will wake up tommorow, the Cowboy players will be all depressed and know if they actually put a little sweat in their uni's and actually try instead of reading all their press clippings, we can get this thing straightened.

Yeah I agree with you. Everyone on this board needs to chill. We'll be alright :)

I agree. It stunk losing this game but we didnt really think that we were gonna win ALL of our remaining games with Romo.

Give Saints credit. They did all the right things. Payton has an imagination and our coaches/coordinators dont.

We are still in first place and the Saints play the Giants and the Eagles. One game at a time.

I really didnt understand abandoning the run... we needed to keep their offense off the field.... we scored so fast that it didnt phase them.

Scary how we couldnt stop them at all.

I'm hopeful our meltdown was an aberration and I never have to witness such a perfromance again.

The good news is that out of our three remaining games no one has the offensive firepower the Saints do. We win these three games and maybe we have a shot at revenge at the Saints.

this was just one game..a big one but still just counts as one in the standings. last weeks win didnt put us in the super bowl and this weeks loss
wont keep us out.
be mad, sad or whatever...but the season did not end tonight.

This game probably cost us a first round bye and home field advantage.

Other than that...
i dont think our team can handle a "first round bye". our O and D is work in progress and all that time off would be more hurtful to be honest if the goal is superbowl.

We definitely have our work cut out for us. We have to beat Atlanta, and I'm not sure we match up well with them either. That game scares me more than any of the remaining three. especially seeing our weakness in the flats. I can see a lot of screens to Dunn and Norwood and alot of Vick scrambling and finding people in single coverage.

We will have to score 28 to win in ATL. Just a gut feeling.
