I would love if we signed this guy to a cheap 1 year deal. Ofcourse he isn't what he use to be, but he would be a darn good 4th WR and insurance policy if anyone gets hurt. I've heard several camp reports now saying Street has looked pretty bad. As a 4th WR with a ton of knowledge and a ring on the cheap, oh yeah give me Wayne

I think he will be on the street during the season, but he would be the first guy I call if Dez goes down

Where are the camp reports saying Street has looked bad? Links please. I haven't read anything on ESPN Cowboys blog or the Boys website on this. I check those sites every day.

I don't see how he would fit in with our team unless someone got injured. Even so, there is a reason the Colts let him go...

I'm shocked that the Colts didn't resign him to a cheap 1 yr deal. He's meant so much to that franchise over the past decade plus. I know they have Hilton and now Andre Johnson... but he could be like Donald Driver was for the Packers in his last years. Hardly saw the field but made some plays every now and then and I'm sure was a great presence in the locker room.

But yeah I would take Reggie on the Cowboys as a 4th WR behind Dez/T-Will/Bease

Broaddus was critical of him the other day saying that Street struggles to gain any sort of separation. Take it for what it's worth

Broaddus said in one of the million shows he does that Street can't separate. I'm not saying Wayne is a burner anymore but he has the smarts. Same way Witten gets open

All the receivers struggle to get separation in our offense. (not counting Beasley)

How often do you see a guy wide open? Hardly ever.

It's all about them shielding off the DB 25 yards downfield in this offense.

I believe Laughenburgh has reported the same thing, also. Not good considering that his lack of ability to separate was the big knock on him last year as well.

All indications are that but for Terrance Williams, Devin Street would've gotten a lot of reps.

I like the crop of starters we have between Dez, T-Will, Bease, and Street. Lucky Whitehead is apparently showing some stuff too. I'm not concerned.

Street might not be a separation type receiver, for those lamenting Broaddus' comments (who also said the same thing about Kelvin Benjamin coming out...so grains of sodium chloride). I would love to see Street become an Anquan Boldin type tough-catch guy.

Street even last year looked like he was running 3/4 speed for some reason.

The Colts have Hilton, Johnson, Moncrief, added Phillip Dorsett in the draft, etc. The WR position is seemingly one of the deepest spots on their roster...and all but Johnson are young guys. But yeah, his leadership/presence in the locker room could be an asset.

Dez, Williams, Beasley, Wayne, and Street/Whitehead...wouldn't be too shabby. I don't think D. Street has done anything to separate himself to this point. The Boys have a few young guys, and hopefully one or two can emerge.
