I think someone is missing a toupee after that gust. :laugh2:
I'm guessing a Cowboys hat. ;)

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I thought Birden was a nice receiver in Kansas City for a few years. However, with him on the roster in '89 we may never have been treated to James Dixon's kickoff return for a TD that same year. Therefore, I disagree.

I'm just wondering what you guys think. I think we messed up when we took Mark Higgs in the 8th round in 1988 since we got Emmitt in 1990. Because we took Mark Higgs, we passed on the player I wanted them to take: J.J. Birden WR Oregon. Plus, we could have traded down 10 spots and still got Birden and picked up a 12th round pick which could have been a player like Brian Kinchen TE/C Louisana State.

Don't you think the franchise would be better off if we wouldn't have blown that pick? I have a feeling we are going to regret it.

I think the 90's worked out pretty well for us. Also, The Office is the funniest show on television hands down.

The original British version is way better. By the way, didn't James Dixon have a 200 yard receiving game for us once? I have special affection for the guys who were there during the lean years (Everett Gay, Kelvin Edwards, Ray Alexander, James Dixon, etc...)

Meh...I've watched both and I have to say the American crew is tops.

By the way, ******** about a draft that was nearly two decades ago is an entirely different animal than one that happened 5 months ago.

Hell yes the franchise would have been better off. Do you realize just how close the "Boys were to another Super Bowl in '94? Things like that build up, and I blame all the troules of the 1996 - 2004 seasons on that very move.:lmao2:

Jem, I knew you would be the type to chime in on this thread with some quality! Regarding Dixon's big day, I'm not 100% certain, but I think it was a 210-yard receiving day. It was definitely '89, and if memory serves me correct once again, it was at Phoenix. I think he had something like an 80 yard touchdown from Aikman on the play that Aikman got nailed by Wilbur Marshall and ended up with a hole in his tongue.

Cheers brother! I think that was the game. I remember Aikman getting drilled as he released the ball.

Not even close. David Brent is the best character of all time. I like Steve Carell, but Ricky Gervais has the role nailed.
