Rehabbing Guys Look Good

"Looking good" after months of rehab isn't actually the most important thing to look for in the players who have gone through rehab. Remaining healthy is the most important thing to look for in the players hoping to have a successful season. Players should never be rushed back.

Recurring injuries are much too commonplace to be confident that simply looking good would likely lead to success. At a season's beginning, it's encouraging, but that's about all.

Continued health is highly desired but never guaranteed. Hopefully, our walking wounded will be treated with care to avoid having them return to action prematurely. The smartest teams avoid it. We'd best be one of them. The team doctor usually knows when the time is right.

See Gallup diggs etc
Unfortunate for them. Possibly a rarity, if it really happened that way.
Yes, they could have taken more tie. But they were cleared to play, it was not the team or the FO telling them to play.

Dallas has never rushed a player back to play.
How many time have they said, 3 to 4 weeks, and it has been 6 to 8 weeks, or more.
How many times, they will be ready for TC or the season. Only to start on PUP or go on IR.

Saw some video recently of the rehabbing players (Sam Williams, Diggs, Revel, and Overshown). The first thing I noticed is that all these guys are out of braces; not even a compression sleeve.

All of these dudes are moving well, including Overshown (as demonstrated in his boot scootin’ videos).

I’m optimistic of of the timelines for some of these guys.
now THAT is some encouraging news. these are core pieces with serious potential.
