I disagree with you Sir. Every week after they play like this, someone says - RELAX. This is good, they needed the wake-up call, they will learn from this, etc.Yeah, this was a rough loss. I mean, every loss is a rough. In the end, bad execution and bad luck got us. But the division was long shot anyway.
The team with one loss this far into the year kinda deserves to win it anyway. Even if we beat them, they needed to lose another game and we needed to be perfect.
That doesn’t mean the season is lost. Or that we can’t win the next game. Iggles are better, sure, but they’re not invincible. Win next week and we send a message, feel better, and start to gain some momentum. Play loose and aggressively.
Winning three road games in the playoffs obviously won’t be easy. But we’ve tried it every other way and still didn’t get it. So it’s not like winning the division, a super long shot, was going to make us all feel great.
So I don’t know about others, but I think I’ll watch next week and root for a win. Then I’ll open up some gifts with the family.
This team, much like all the Cowboy teams of the past 25 years, doesn't learn anything. This was said after the Packers loss, after barely beating Texans last week, etc.
This isn't the refs or bad luck. The Cowboys will always at some point beat themselves. Dan plays lights out one half, then bad Dak comes back for the 2nd half. The offense is moving the ball up and down the field at will - both RBS, they can't cover Lamb - then they can't get a damn first down in the 2nd half practically. Our so called top defense has regressed every week since Dak came back and the offense took off. Remember when they were only allowing 14-15-16 points a game. Moore playing calling is like Daks QB play- bipolar. Quinn is getting out-coached on his side. Nome of that is bad luck- ITS WHO THEY ARE.
