Relax its week 2. Only 6 teams are 2-0

Dallas may win ten games and get into the playoffs but they are not constructed or coached well enough to make a deep playoff run.

Once again the team has good players that don’t seem to make a good team. There seems to be a lack of passion.

The problem is the defense. They looked even worse than they did against the Packers in the playoffs last year.

They still can't stop the run and now we have no running game whatsoever on offense.

There is no way this team can compete against elite, physical teams when the playoffs come. They are still soft. The only chance is for dak to have a historic playoff run, but he's proven that he doesn't elevate his play in the playoffs.

I'm guessing this team will hover just above 500 for the year. Eagles win the division and the cowboys have to hope to sneak in the wild card.

Not even a little worried about the flaming or whatever its called. We have an extremely negative fan base here and anyone who isn't sharpening their pitchforks and loading up their guns after a loss will get this. Some of these people have been crying the same song year after year and once the team shows weakness they pounce and act like they are surprised. The Saints pushed us around. The niners and Packers did also. If anyone thought we were going to hire Zimmer and in 2 weeks that problem is solved has trouble with managing their own expectations. Give the man and the team some time to resolve it. Let him adapt and see what happens. No guarantee either way. But I am not going to give up on my season after week 2. Nah.

Can they today? No. But its 2 weeks into a new DC and new scheme. Give the man some time to fix it before heading to the bridge.
 
ur riht about it being only week 2 but idk how any one can watch how they lost today and then remember how they lose every single year in the playoffs and think any thing have changed or will change

The silver lining in this cloud is it happened in week 2.

The ominous fear question is... Are the conditions that led to this loss systemic in this team and the organization?

I'm not sure u can fix soft players. The lack of strength and talent on the interior of the dline has killed this team for years now.

And when things go bad, they all seem to quit. They play like world beaters against bad teams. But they never respond when getting punched in the mouth.

You are acting like they just lost a tough competitive game. That was one of the most disgraceful performances in Dallas history. And the last time we saw this team in Dallas they were getting completely punked by GB. Any team that punches them in mouth and they fold like a cheap suite. That’s their identity, I don’t know how you could watch this and not be concerned. They look like the same soft team that is going nowhere.
 
Have to have high expectations to panic.

But yes...lots of teams have a loss.

Fwiw, there will be 9 teams that are 2-0 after the weekend.

Relax - we followed up the worst playoff performance of all time at home with the worst first half in regular season history in the very next home game!
 
I was at the stadium and had a perfect view. On the first bomb from Carr Micah was held by two players. Pathetic

All I know is it’s a long season and I hope they figure it out. They may or may not, but I can’t let that be the arbiter of my happiness in my life.

I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next game because I do enjoy watching them play.
 
Hard to relax when you get completely destroyed in your home opener. The 35 points we gave up in the first half tied a franchise record. We either kicking someone’s butt or getting our butts kicked. This is a strange football team. We don’t know what we’re going get from one week to another with the Cowboys.
