We have all the post game blow it up, this team sucks, we aren't good enough to make the playoffs, Fire everyone posts and threads.

Its been 2 weeks and only 6 teams are currently 2-0.

Chargers, Vikings, Saints, Bucs, Seahawks and Bills.

These teams are not going to take over the league because they are 2-0 and the teams at 1-1 are not garbage all of a sudden. Heck Ravens are 0-2 and they are going to be alright. Its 2 games. Yes we got our butts kicked bad. Sometime thats better than a close loss because it forces everyone to focus in and not pretend we almost had em.
Ravens wil be alright because they have the Cowboys coming up…

1-1 is one thing.
How they got the 1 win was impressive overall. on the road, vs a defensively strong browns team.
How they got the 1 loss was equally concerning in that's it was the same method for their losses in the postseason

Im not jumping off the wagon, but this loss they were never really in the game.
Couldn't even do something in garbage time

Not even a little worried about the flaming or whatever its called. We have an extremely negative fan base here and anyone who isn't sharpening their pitchforks and loading up their guns after a loss will get this. Some of these people have been crying the same song year after year and once the team shows weakness they pounce and act like they are surprised. The Saints pushed us around. The niners and Packers did also. If anyone thought we were going to hire Zimmer and in 2 weeks that problem is solved has trouble with managing their own expectations. Give the man and the team some time to resolve it. Let him adapt and see what happens. No guarantee either way. But I am not going to give up on my season after week 2. Nah.
The whole point is it’s the saints pushing us around….not the niners. We shouldn’t be pushed around by teams on the saints level if we are a team that is expected to make a deep playoff run and be taken seriously.

Sure, this does happen to great teams once or 2x a year but this isn’t a one year sample size for us, it’s been the last 3-4 years of a sample size we the same inconsistency’s ie ; lack of consistent run, lack of consistently stopping the run, one dimensional.

I’m not loading up the “guns” or sharpening the pitch forks, I know this team is capable of winning 10,11,12 games this year- that’s great, the goal by now should be getting over the hump. It’s not about giving up on the season, I surely haven’t but it’s being realistic about how our offseason shortcomings coming home to bite us in the ***.

We do half measures and hope in the offseason that’s why these issues never get addressed. We are literally relying on 6 rookies right now to get us over the hump- to say fans saw this coming is an understatement and I say this still watching every week and rooting for the team

Yes. It’s a random internet message board poster’s fault.
Yes, I obviously meant that poster's mentality is the ACTUAL REASON and not the mentality that the organization seems to have. Try to stay with me.

The problem I see:

This isn't an overly talented Cowboys team.

The DL was pushed all over the stadium. The RB's are all hyper-pedestrian. The WR's are weak except for CeeDee.

I'm not sure what the problem is. But this team wasn't ready to play and folded quickly.

We said blow it up after GB walked in and stole our souls last postseason. Today, we let another walk into our stadium and steel our cheerleaders

You forgot Crapsburgh. They're 2-0. And I hate Crapsburgh. Carry on.

Don’t blame me for your ratchety communication skills.
It’s not my job for you to comprehend what I’m conveying. You’re the only one who commented on it, so you seem to be the lonewolf. Surely no one would be silly enough to think a poster’s MINDSET could affect the Cowboys’ lack of success over the past 30 years. Oh wait, hi there!

That type of loser mentality is why you’re such a poor communicator.

The problem is due to not spending on guys in the offseason they’re relying on Guyton, Beebe, Luifau, Kneeland and Carson to play huge roles.

Teams don’t typically rely on that many rookies so early unless they’re either rebuilding or there’s injuries.

Those guys will all get up to speed by the end of the year but how many losses will the team have while we wait for them to grow up.

Seasons not over but it can’t get away quickly. That game in Pittsburgh in a few weeks is going to be the tell tale if this will be a winning season or not. They’re going to have to rely on the run game and can Dallas stop it.

Dallas will likely lose next week to Baltimore and then beat the Giants making it a tipping point in Pitt before facing the gauntlet of

Detroit
@SF
@Atlanta
Philly
Houston

If they’re 2-3 going into that stretch, this season could get away quickly.
