I hope I didn't clutter the thread up. I put the playoff contender's schedules up for reference. I was having problems seeing the earlier ones with my old eyes. Hope the OPs don't mind.

I can see AZ losing out, but the sad part is, I can see us doing the same. Chicago looks to be the easiest game for us. Even easier than the Deadskins.

Took the schedules down I put up. Cluttered the thread up too much. I can put them back if there's enough interest. Sry.

I actually think (won't happen though) that Seattle could go 1-3. I think they can lose to the eagles (traveling from west to east is tough and the Seahawks have not been putting up a lot of points). The niners and rams are going to be tough games even though they are at home.

I'm thinking the opposite and they go 3-1. Saw Arizona play today and they struggle to move the ball. KC-STL-SEA-SF on deck for them and they will need to figure something out or they're staring at 9-7.

It's not generous, it' mathematical probability, which means it's exactly 42%.

Its mathmatical probability based on past performance, not taking in consideration injuries or team's level of play increases or decreases over the the last 4 weeks, etc.

My point was that there was nothing "generous" about the 42% chance of making the playoffs. It's not like the probability was actually 32% and someone decided to add an extra 10% to be generous.

I have a feeling they'll beat KC. KC seems like the perfect opponent for them. Weak *** qb with a noodle arm, and a doofus for a coach at least clock management wise. Hopefully I'm wrong and KC which will be desperate shows it's urgency.

We need Arizona to find a way to win. If Seattle overtakes them we'll lose the tie breaker to Arizona unless we finish a game ahead of them, meaning we'll need to catch two games on them in the last four. That's tough to do if we don't go 4-0.

Many of the teams we are hoping will rack up some losses, are matched up against each other down the stretch. It minimizes their likelihood of "racking them up"..

Week 14
SEA vs PHI

Week 15
SF vs SEA

Week 16
SEA vs AZ
CHI vs DET

Week 17
DET vs GB
AZ vs SF

If our best chances at this stage are with Seattle losing the division, i like those odds best. Just look at their schedule. Hopefully they will lose every game with the exception of the Eagles game. Their week 17 match up is the Rams.
