Remaining high on Bennett

Bennett had a horrible completion percentage and Jerry called him out for his work ethic. People aren't diappointed in him for no reason. He's obviously got a lot of natural talent as evidenced by his rookie season, but I have my doubts whether or not he will reach his potential. I hope he does, because that would be another weapon for Romo.

i didn't say he didn't deserve the criticism.

i said dogging on him for being stupid on facebook was ignorant.

I still have hope for Bennett and Williams...........just hope that they realy turn it on this year
Hallo-LU-Ya, on that note. Roy and Romo need to get it together and Bennett needs to get his face in the playbook instead of being on twitter all the time or youtube.

To put this thread in a bit of perspective, why are we saying things like "I believe Bennett/Williams will turn it around". Really? Based on what?

And is success really up to how Bennett/Williams produce? At the end of the day, that's their goal, and the offensive coaches' goal in terms of getting that productivity out of them.

But if these players don't produce in the end, then it's still up to the coaches to get productivity out of the TE nd WR positions from other players.

So in perspective, this is really not about Bennett/Williams at all. It all comes down to Jason Garrett. If there was ever a year for an offensive coordinator to take that next step forward in his development as a coach, this is the year for Garrett in Dallas.

Ignorant of what? The guy has character flaws and is too stupid not to broadcast them. He isn't a pizza boy, he's a highly paid athlete, he deserves the scorn that he brings upon himself. Nobody likes a talker without credentials in any highly paid position, to think otherwise is ignorant.

I hopethat he shuts up and plays...well.

to give him hell for being dumb on facebook or twitter is warranted sure...

but to think it has any impact on his play I think is a massive stretch.

do you stalk every stupid posters on facebook, or just marty? i think for the most part we agree. even if bennett shut up and never said a thing, the "haters" would just get mad at him for something else. am i wrong?

they made up "facebook" as a way to say how he sucks.
