They still have all the same needs, except for Safety

Gary was such a mid move, really no better than Clowney. Very unimpressed. We signed an above average safety and that’s really it. Jerry let all the linebackers get away, didn’t try for Trey or anyone else after Maxx initially was traded to Baltimore.,….no corners. Another sit back and wait offseason by Jerry.

5T just jumped up to 2nd on the need list
1st - ILB
2nd - DE/5T
3rd - EDGE

i guess depending on Gary and if he bulks up to 285 could be a 5T then edge jumps him.

We signed a below average safety. At least Gary is solid.

You have it completely reversed. Typical of a Cowboys fan. Probably can’t spell “cat.”

Dude, Clowney had more sacks than Gary in 3 less games last season…..he’s not really an improvement over Clowney, so yeah, average. Never had a 10 sack season in 7 years. Are we trying to get better or what? Miss me with that “typical cowboys fan” condescending crap, don’t be a jerk.

Because sacks are the only measure of a player’s performance? They aren’t bringing back Clowney for whatever reason.

My point is that Gary is a better player than Thompson. Which is what I said. And again, thanks for proving my point.
 
Okay. I'm a bit slow and not sure what Parker really wants although pretty obvious that Solomon and Osa weren't in the plans. But all we have done except for Gary and Thompson are backup and fill players.

Am I wrong that we need at least one one good DE, ILB, 2 CBs, and a difference maker at OLB and now a good DT. What am I missing?

What kind of splash is Jerry trying to make? What kind of miracle can Parker pull off?

You are correct. Hopefully they have a thought out plan but knowing their history, i doubt they have the wherewithal to actually execute it.

I think Bland and Revel are locked in as your two corners for the year. Thompson can play safety or nickel so I think they’ll move him around depending on who they get in the draft. Williams and Clark are the DEs. They signed a nose tackle but an upgrade would be nice. By my count they need an edge, db, mlb, and nose tackle. Now that they have a third they could comfortably get three of those but still need at least one more quality free agent.

We haven’t lost a CB but I would argue we need one.

We have 2 premium draft picks so there is more work to be done.

IOL and CB added today. With the trade of OSA the needs have changed.

Edge

Are now the 3 biggest needs. They can still draft CB and Safety to upgrade but at least those are no longer gaping wounds.
