If the answer is Yes...than EVERY rookie drafted by the Dallas Cowboys...no matter how crappy they were...is a winner. Every Coach that has Coached the Dallas Cowboys is a winner.

So I want to make sure that you have never called a guy drafted by the Dallas Cowboys a loser or failure or just another guy or a nobody or a non contributor or anything of a negative manner. Same would go for Any coaches.

I mean....I would hate for you to adopt this mentality that let's say someone that has worked to achieve the goal as the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys would ever be talked bad about...Since they have achieved the goal of becoming the HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

Well...I hope you will chastise anyone that stated that Campo was a bad Coach.
I hope that you go through every means to make sure that anyone that questions the ablity of Jason Garrett receive similar condemnation from you because hey...they both achieved the goal of becoming the Head Coach of America's team.

I also hope that you don't have any posts that belittle our Owner since he is at the pinnacle of the NFL after just being nominated into the HOF as an Owner.

I mean if you did belittle or somehow spoke negative about any of the coaches, players or owner...it would mean you are being a hypocrite.

Do you think the game has passed by our Coordinators?

Jeff Heath appreciation thread

Hmm...Jeff Heath has helped out this team much more than Isaiah Stanback ever did and Jeff Heath also accomplished his goal to get drafted and yet you are not giving him the same props as Stanback...wonder why...Oh it's because you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Beautiful rebuttal. I am guilty of giving criticism as well, although, I draw the line at calling someone who has accomplished something I cant a "failure". Failure being the key term. Criticism and calling someone a failure are two different things.

TBH i would argue that Isaiah Stanback has actually accomplished more by doing less than Jeff Heath has.... Jeff Heath has been responsible for losses where as Stanback hasnt. LOL

Don't have too...your own words were the best argument to prove you talk out of both sides of your mouth and how foolish your whole rant about someone who said he was a failure for this team...which they were right in saying.
Unlike stanback, Heath has actually made some plays and has received more than one contract with the team.

I don't care about the tattoo line...people can make fun of them or not.

But you were shown to be talking out of both sides of your mouth. End of argument.

I had high hopes for Stanback because I watched him at Washington and his running style was impressive and he looked like a real athlete. They were saying that he was naturally plucking his catches which is a major positive. I thought he could be a more athletic version of Patrick Crayton. The problem was that hearing his interviews he still wanted to play QB and from what I've seen, if a player is making the conversion from QB to WR, they can do it if they are fully committed to playing WR. Guys like Scott Frost didn't have that commitment. Guys like Edelman, Randle-El and Crayton did and that's why they succeeded.

So I can see the point of the poster that sees him as a failure...he certainly had the *talent* to actually play and contribute on an NFL team and he didn't. Is making it to the bare minimum of a high level more impressive than wasting your talent is unimpressive?

And yes, I can safely say I've been 'in the top-70 employees' of companies I've worked for.

This...Don't mean to dog on the guy but I just don't see the need to defend him with any vigor what so ever. The Dallas Cowboys have drafted hundreds of players over the years. Sure it is an accomplishment to get drafted by any team but if you are bascially a guy that does not contribute much to a team, does not get a second contract from the team because they don't feel you are worth it...You are a failure with that team. All the picks can't be winners. Also has nothing to do with what he does after they leave the team.

But if we are talking about him and this team...he just did not cut the mustard.
At least it did not cost us a first round pick like Carpenter or multiple round picks Or a huge contract.

Best wishes to the guy in the WWE as well.

He just did not pan out here.

I could be wrong on this one....but IIRC...Didn't Isaiah have some health issues when he was with the Cowboys. I was thinking he was one of those players that had Hamstring issues. But maybe it was a different injury or a differently player I am thinking of.

Let's call a spade a spade and say that he didn't cut the mustard anywhere in the NFL. Truth be told, if he did he would be playing in the NFL instead of trying to become a sports entertainer.

Art Schlichter made it to the NFL. Does that make him a 'winner?' Should we never be negative about how he threw away all of his talent and just sit there and idolize the fact that he made it to the NFL? I don't think that's how most people think.

You need to learn how to argue and not sound some kid on the playground. IF is a word you don't seem to understand. I was using your own argument against you but are so ingrained in trying to prove yourself correct that you continue to just make yourself look silly.

As I said before... Just move on.

Then answer the question I asked you! Stop answering questions like some kid with "if".

You can hoot and holler about what the person said but it is hard to disagree with him no matter how much rant and rave.

He, Isiah Stanback, was a failure with this team...the Dallas Cowboys. And he was not on the active roster, he was only on the practice squad, of the New York Giants when they won that superbowl, whether he got a ring or not.

All true, every word, and I liked the guy when he was in Dallas.
