Remember Jalen Tolbert?

I agree with you, didn’t need a thread for this. He’s still here obviously he has a role, whether people believe it or not
Once again like your cousin Pass, you came here to add your 3 sense to the post. There's a lot of posts on here that don't belong but our great mods (minus me) allow it, so it's all good. I didn't violate any laws or rules, so get over it!!!!

Very true, seems that Tolbert is seen more because he's out there to block. I'd like to see Flo get more touches whenever he can!!
He was the only receiver with a TD catch last week so I'd say his stock is rising. I wouldn't add him to my fantasy team quite yet though.

Get over what? I will always add my 3 sense as you put it, when I feel like commenting, by the way thank you for the compliment the number 3 means a lot to me. So thank you and like you I didn’t violate any laws or rules, so I will stay on it

He was a guy mentioned who could be traded at the deadline, wonderfully he survived being traded. What role does he have in this offense, will he be a healthy scratch, will they allow Mingo to dress?? Please give your thoughts
WR5 or WR6 is what he gets. But I don't really want to see him on the field unless he starts producing. It's about to get cold, so I picture him warming the pine up or holding Pickens beer while he's on the field.

I'd rather see Flournoy burning CBs and Mingo mauling in the run game. Flournoy burnt that CB to a crisp on that out route TD. The guy just gets wide open somehow.

Tolbert can ride pine, and it's only because we have better players. WR is a rare strength on our roster. I hope Tolbert finds a solid WR3 role on different team, since he's been a good locker room guy/team mate.

Tolbert has produced every season small contributions in Year 1, more in Year 2, had a breakout 7tds in Year 3. That is nothing to sneeze at, you’re not going to have a WR step in and make noise right off the bat, sometimes it takes 3,/4, 5 yrs, and when you have a strong Wr room it could take some time before a player gets a real opportunity to shine. I would think people would remember Miles Austin, he got his real opportunity in his 4th season both WRs Austin and Tolbert are and were buried not getting much opportunities. Yes Tolbert plays a lot but he really doesn’t get much opportunities meaning Dak misses or doesn’t look his way when he’s open and he does be open. I love Dak I am a huge supporter but I am hard on him I say all the time that he gets stuck on his favorites, if he ever gets back to the point he was as a rookie and throws to whoever is open he will hit another level.

The difference between Tolbert and Austin.
Austin’s breakout came more dramatically because he went from backup to Pro Bowl WR1 overnight.

Tolbert’s rise has been steadier — he’s already ahead of Austin’s pace through Year 3 in terms of offensive integration and target consistency.

I've got no problem with Tolbert, however Flournoy is simply better, is only in his second year, and statistically performs better than all of our receivers per snap. It's not personal. I just made a couple of pine jokes, but at the end of my post I also explained I hope he catches on with a WR needy team. He's just outmanned in our WR room.

Please withhold your thoughts for at least a day. Give yourself some time off.

I was thinking of starting an argument just wanted to remind people that sometimes it takes time or a real opportunity to shine.
I think Flournoy has talent to, but he could be another Kevin Ogletree or Sam Hurd

It's highly unlikely. If you look at his production stats, you'd really be shocked we found him in the 5th. I definitely noticed him being wide open, but when I saw the stats it really blew my mind how efficient the guy is. Then, I looked at his RAS, and realized his tape matched his 9.89 relative athletic score. Subsequently, I figured out he matured late physically and was under the radar coming in to college, and that's why none of us knew who he was. Now I'm on board seeing how the film matches the RAS, which we all know isn't a given.

I just read what I said, I meant that I wasn’t trying to start an argument

Spot duty for the rest of his time in Dallas. Maybe catches 5 more balls.

No worries. I was just discussing Tolbert and Flournoy. I like them both, but it's time for Tolbert to get paid and Flournoy is in year 2. We can't keep them all. We also have Holden and Mingo, so it's nice to have so much talent in the WR room. I just wish we had the same problem in the secondary!
