Wish Bill would release the tension when we have nice plays for the whole team's sake......it just seems he waits for the bad play so he can be unhappy for the team.....can't he say "how bout them cowboys" for morale!....I would think this would be awesome for the team.....especially the young players...

each coach has his own way of motivating players, so far parcell's grim style of coaching has seemed to work pretty well

How many times did you ever see Tom Landry smiling?

The Cowboy experience certainly seemed a lot more enjoyable under Jimmy, for both players and fans alike.

It probably had something to do with Butch Davis screaming like a girl in happiness on the sidelines during Super Bowl 27

Can't say that had any bearing on my enjoyment, but hey different strokes...

oh trust me, it had plenty of enjoyment on my "ball bearings"

He smirked after TO's last TD catch. What the hell more do you want?

Yeah I thought that was cute the way he tried to hide his smiling whilst TO was standing on the "little" star in the end zone. Come on, give the man a break. Like one other post said, whatever he's doing it's working and we have no clue how he shows his appreciation out of the spotlight for a job well done. :starspin

Not sure anybody else sees it this way, but to me these Cowboys (Owens excluded) generally seem like a collection of self-contained, very competent players who play with more caution than emotion or enthusiasm.

To me, they seem to reflect Parcells in so far as avoiding mistakes is seen as more important than making plays.
