Remember Mark Pelluer?

Wow! I remember that game so well. I was listening in to AFRTS from Germany which would only give a very faint reception!

I was still young and new to the sport - I thought these games were the norm!!

The reception was intermittent, and I would only pick up every other word, it was like code-breaking trying to put the game together in my mind!!

Thanks for the post. Great memories............

Each week I would be missing my homework on a Sunday eve before school... 'I'll do it after the game,' I'd keep telling myself!

I remember always referencing Steve Pelluer as "Manure".

All I have to say is that I actually cracked a wry smile when I saw Singletary literally take his head off in 1988.

That was one more vicious hit...

Of course, by today's rules it would be a penalty as Pelluer was taking the slide... It looked as if his head could literally detach from his neck...

yeah thats when I thought every Cowboy was a Pro Bowler and every year they would be in the playoffs...

Pueller was better than Hogeboom or was that Hutchinson?

Steve Pelluer, Gary Hogeboom, Kevin Sweeny, Ahhhh the good ol days.

How did he tick off Jimmy? I honestly don't remember.
I think he was holding out for more money. Jimmy quickly canned his butt. That's how I remember it. Can anyone supply more details?

Steve Pelluer was a HUGE reason that the Cowboys got a chance at Aikman.
