The BIG DT we drafted to come in and stop the run. His words were along the lines of "I'm coming in here to stop the run, it's going to stop with me being here" only to be cut seasons later. I'm saying this because he was drafted to help stop the run, our run defense has been bad for how many years! There seems like there's no real way to stop it, or find players who can fit that role consistently. These off season must be about stopping the run!!

You said the Cowboys drafted him to be the Big DT to come in and stop the run. What Bohanan said about himself after the draft doesn't change what the Cowboys thought when they drafted him, which was a late rounder with a big body they hoped could develop.

The biggest misconception is that the DT are the issue with this teams run game. Now I'm not saying that unit couldn't be better overall as they could, but in being better against the run I would address LB first along with any DE not named DLaw. I've been a DQ supporter since he arrived in Dallas, but after yesterday the writing is on the wall and something has to change. You can't continue to be a strict pass first defense in this league.
