Remember this Onslaught

Will probably watch the 3 SB's within the next week or two or three.
I watched some playoff games from the 90's, and the Cowboys Steelers game from 2016. Will watch a few more playoff games as well.

I just watched SB XII last week. I think they have SB VI also. I was in college for SB XII but forget a lot of it, how it went.
don't remember too much from SB VI though. I will watch this next.

Jerry's ego has been our #1 problem for decades.

Keeping Garrett for a decade was a total ego move.

Can't disagree at all. Jerry made his own mess, and would not clean it up. But at least he finally realized, the trash had to go.
Like a hoarder, at some point they need to clean it out to make a path to walk.

True but 10 years??????? (LOL)

Even mediocre leaders realize when something isn’t working year after year, and you’re the one in charge, maybe you’re the problem. But the Jones family apparently does not own a mirror.

When Jerrah's time comes I will be very confident we'll be in good hands with Stephen running the team..(Rolling my eyes).

Kinda pizzes me off watching this..........no doubt in my mind Jerry and Jimmy's egos cost us at least 2 more Super Bowls.
You are telling me. I started watching football during the 1997 Season. I was alive for the superbowls but didn’t know or care about football.

Well the Garrett is building mantra lasted for almost 8 years and I think the team realized the scouts were doing their job but the game day coaching was terrible.

Garrett coached with an ego as well in a league that has evolved into most teams being similar and the QB, coach, or defense being the only real difference makers between teams.

Garrett needed perfection for his plan to ever work.

That was obvious to me very early on in Garrett’s career but the geniuses that make the calls needed 10 years to figure that out.

That is based on a lot of assumption form us. We think he would have had them better prepared in SF but he was in charge in the previous SB and it took a play from James Washington to turn that game in the Cowboys favor because they came out flat.

If not for O'Donnell's strange confusion thinking Larry Brown was a Steeler because he was wide open, maybe they don't win that one either.

There is this tendency to think Johnson was invincible and they would have won just because he was the HC and that's completely unknown.

I do not believe we let all those players walk and overpay Deion if Jimmy has a say.

Totally agree. Signing Deion was one of the first examples of Jerry making the sizzle more important than the steak. Sure Deion Sanders was a great player, and he helped us. But I believe we would have been better served over time keeping more of those guys we had to let go.

4peat was in the bag with Jimmy.

If Bozo the Coach doesn't get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against SF, good chance even he could have had a 4peat.

Really, how many times has a HC gotten a 15 yard penalty in league *history*. What a schmuck.
