Kinda pizzes me off watching this..........no doubt in my mind Jerry and Jimmy's egos cost us at least 2 more Super Bowls.
Two TDs from Aikman to Irvin in 18 seconds and then it was absolute demolition. Good times...

Jerry's ego has been our #1 problem for decades.
Keeping Garrett for a decade was a total ego move.
Can't disagree at all. Jerry made his own mess, and would not clean it up. But at least he finally realized, the trash had to go.
Like a hoarder, at some point they need to clean it out to make a path to walk.
Even mediocre leaders realize when something isn’t working year after year, and you’re the one in charge, maybe you’re the problem. But the Jones family apparently does not own a mirror.Jerry's ego has been our #1 problem for decades.

You are telling me. I started watching football during the 1997 Season. I was alive for the superbowls but didn’t know or care about football.Kinda pizzes me off watching this..........no doubt in my mind Jerry and Jimmy's egos cost us at least 2 more Super Bowls.

That is based on a lot of assumption form us. We think he would have had them better prepared in SF but he was in charge in the previous SB and it took a play from James Washington to turn that game in the Cowboys favor because they came out flat.Kinda pizzes me off watching this..........no doubt in my mind Jerry and Jimmy's egos cost us at least 2 more Super Bowls.
I do not believe we let all those players walk and overpay Deion if Jimmy has a say. That is based on a lot of assumption form us. If not for O'Donnell's strange confusion thinking Larry Brown was a Steeler because he was wide open, maybe they don't win that one either.
There is this tendency to think Johnson was invincible and they would have won just because he was the HC and that's completely unknown.
Totally agree. Signing Deion was one of the first examples of Jerry making the sizzle more important than the steak. Sure Deion Sanders was a great player, and he helped us. But I believe we would have been better served over time keeping more of those guys we had to let go.I do not believe we let all those players walk and overpay Deion if Jimmy has a say.
