Grabbed cortez's face mask and almost killed him for missing a field goal? That's the type of leadership we need around here again. Will anyone step up?

Yes, I remember that - I had forgotten which kicker that was though.

It's good to have leadership coming from the big fellah ranks.

Jose Cortez.

And yes we desperately need that type of leadership.

That has as much to blame for the reason we're 1-7 as Wade did.

I will just accept guys doing their jobs and following their assigments.

Grabbing a facemask won't solve many problems. If I remember correctly, that was a pretty bad team when that happened.

Not really. It was 2005. We were 9-7 that year.

Could have been alot better too. We went into the Thanksgiving game against Denver sitting at 7-5 I believe.

Then Newman let the interception go through his hands, and we let Ron Dane out run our team in overtime, lost, and the season went down the crapper.

I love Larry ...... but a real leader would have not been out of shape every offseason.

I think Larry was just mad about something the moron said.

Yeah I remember that game when we let Dayne look like the Heisman trophy winner again (for for one game). That is the game that made hate Thanksgiving games on CBS.

Buehler would tear LA's head off :laugh1:

Hmmm.....now that would be worth the price of a ticket to see just by itself. I am not so sure who I would bet on, the huge larry Allen or the crafty and ninja like BEE-LER! Certainly if it turned bad for BEE-LER he could out run LA with one leg wrapped around his neck (And thats how BEE-LER would have to run away from LA, just before he wraps the second leg around his neck) :lmao2: (I crack myself up sometimes!).

Good old Parcells getting rid of Larry Allen. He went on to San Francisco and continued to own defensive linemen out there for a few more good seasons.

At the end of his career, I wanted Larry to be the NT.

Larry Allen trying to be a leader at that point in his career might've had more credence with his teammates if he hadn't weighed about 400 lbs and been a shadow of his former self.

I don't think he grabbed Cortez face mask because he missed, but because he blamed the holder or snapper.

LA was never the same after he was injured in 2002. His quickness was gone and he got less and less mobile. The last few times he went to the Pro Bowl it was on reputation not performance. But that bit with Cortes was classic.

Uh no! He nearly ripped his head off because Cortez was stupid enough to bark at him.

My *** looks at John Randle's arms and legs in that video... Good lord that man was a FREAK.

Oh yeah, Larry Allen deserves better than #95 too.

In his prime before 2002 players put themselves on the injury report the week before they played Dallas so that they had an excuse when LA owned them.
