Well 2002 is a long way back... But I can't recall it being this bad after a win with all the agenda driven hate threads about Dez, Romo. It's so bad that clowns are fabricating lies to further them. I don't recall that ever happening, except maybe the Hutch/Carter days.

The thing to remember is that non-private fansites are open to everyone. Everyone means all kinds of people who live and breathe in the world. Eventually any site attracts more diverse individuals who handle stress outside the norm.

I rarely start threads and have never started one after a game so unless someone tried starting a new thread after those particular games they probably weren't aware new threads couldn't be started. The OP made it appear new threads couldn't be started all last season after games when Reality said it only happened after 2 games.

I don't always spend much time here after a game and if they were creating a lot of mega merged threads it's easy to go unnoticed that new threads aren't being posted unless you try to post a new thread. You making an issue of me not being aware of that situation shows how desperate some of you are to try and catch me wrong on something. lol

You must have been on a different board because this one wasn't created until 2004. The only Cowboys board I was aware of back in 2002 was the FWST Cowboys board, that's where I started posting.

To be fair, OP used the word "posts" and posts can be used to describe threads or replies as they are all called "posts" so I can see how it would be easy to construe "posts" as meaning, "No one can post at all"

The thread title was originally, "Remember when..." before I changed it so I am the one who put "threads" in the title. The OP only referenced "posts" .. which again, is right but also easy to confuse.

I admit my original interpretation was that the action happened during an indefinite length of time. I didn't associated my assumption to a certain timeframe--only that the action occurred sometime last season. Whether it was one game or 16 games are both examples of periods too lengthy in my opinion for rabid posting getting so far out of hand that it necessitates taking the action that did happen.

That is where I knew TwoDeep from back in the day. Floaty would pull his crap there as well, I left that board when someone at the ranch referred to it in early 04.. Old age is getting me these days I swear

Never heard of the Ranch. I was surfing for Cowboys news and stumbled onto the FWST in 2002 and noticed they had a Cowboys forum. Never even knew they existed. That board became a HUGE mess when Philly fans started invading it. Their board was moderated and all the banned members would flock to the FWST board and raise havoc. They created their own thread and call themselves "the dorks." They were like a street gang that terrorized our board causing it to be torn down. There's a few posters from that board that post here like CowboyRoy, randy932 and fmart.
