Randle-who?? This idiot will soon learn that he made the biggest mistake of his career.

Pittsburgh used this guy in ways that no other team would think of. And his numbers were still average at best.

Play for a defending SB Champion or go to Washington?? A college dropout should be able to figure this one out.

Why is it the biggest mistake of his career? Randle El has already won a super bowl ring with the steelers. It was his time to get paid and he did with signing with the skins while at the same time he will be playing playoff team that will be in my opinion a super bowl contender. I'm sure Saunders will be able to think of other ways to use Randle EL as well, dont you?

Get paid is where you should have stopped. Randle-El will not be as successful with the Skins. Just like Deion and many others.

In response to the first post of this thread -- i remember when we signed Deion Sanders and Bruce Smith and Mark Carrier and Jeff George.

You know what they all had in common that is nothing like the signings we've just made? All those *******s were old and done. They were past their prime and on the wrong side of 30.

These new acquisitions are young and just entering their prime. That's it. You want them to fail and not mesh well together --- fine --- you should do that because you're Dallas fans --- I hope your Free Agents end up sucking too---

But not really. I want our teams to be as good as they can be because I like what's happening in our division right now. The rivalry is a two-way street now and it's an exciting time; good for both our teams and good for football. I want the old-fashioned edge-of-your-seat brawl between Dallas and Washington and I want both teams to say "we're evenly matched so we'll give it our best shot and the better team wins".

For sure. I cant wait til we play you guys next year. It's going to be awesome. Both teams will most likely go into the season labeled as SB contenders. The Rivalry is hot again. I love it. I hope all your FA fail, but it's nice when you arent going into a game against a team that you've beaten 14 times in your laast 15 meetings ;). The rivalry is back, and so is the NFC East. I think it's great.

:chainsaw: :nana: :strongarm The fact of the matter is Gibbs has brought the Smurfs back. and paid as usual way too much money. The average corner over shadows their receivers by 4-6 inches and they are just as fast. The only way they will have sucess is if they go to the West Coast offence, and they don't have the QB to succeed in that area.

Lets not forget, when Jerry Jones won the 3 Championships, there was no Salary Cap.

A Different League, a Different Era.

Since the firing of Jimmy Johnson and the induction of the Salary Cap what has Jerry Jones done that Snyder hasn't?

You can try and claim this is 2000 all over again for the Skins, but the difference to me is that Snyder went out and got players in their prime, to fill holes in the Commanders' team. In 2000 he simply went for the biggest "stars" in Free Agency simply for the star power.

Big difference.

Riiight, then how do you explain Santana Moss doing what he did last year, being as small as he is, and without having a viable #2 WR on the other side. Moss dealt with the Double Team all season long, and still put up incredible numbers. His size didn't seem to matter one bit, yet somehow adding two more good WRs that aren't huge, will the WR corps worse..?????

To be honest, with the exception of maybe one or two games, the past decade, the games have still been "exciting" but just for Dallas/Washington fans. I mean most of the games have been won by less then a TD each time, it is just that both teams had been so bad, that winning the game was merely for NFC East rivalry bragging rights. That's the beauty of this rivalry, it is intense no matter what the circumstances.

Yep! It's "ON" again! So much better to watch when both teams are good. Remember the Monday night game with Richard Simmons? LOL
