This was a very legit question imho.
You could also look at the last 2 teams Owens departed from so unceremoniously. While there were certainly fans in those cities and a number of players screaming, "don't let the door hit you..." it took those teams down a peg.
All that said this Dallas team is still very talented.
This team has a solid QB and more than solid running back corps. It has a more than solid defense. Its OL can be very good though it can also be derailed far too easily for my liking.
I think the way you alter the offense to not suffer is to get Felix and Tashard involved more so that this team resembles what the Giants were doing. Force teams to play your run then make them pay with RW/Austin/Witten.
All that said T.O. drew double teams more often than just about any WR in the league. I am most worried about that effect on the offense.
We ranked 4th in scoring offense year 1 with T.O. and 2nd in year 2. I fully expect we can repeat or surpass the 18th ranking of the 3rd year of T.O. but that wasn't good enough by any means, we need to approach that 4th ranking at least.
