I think Odigy falls nicely into the "good....not great" category of player and will likely command a much higher contract in the open market than I would want to pay. One 3-tech I've been watching that I think could be a good as good if not better than Odigy is South Carolina's TJ Sanders. Big-framed guy at apx. 6'-5" 300 lbs.

I think Osa is one of the most underrated players on the team if not the league…

If he doesn’t sign our fans are going to be shocked at how big of a contract he is going to get. If we let him walk we sure as heck better try and bring in another vet that at least be close bc a rookie isn’t replacing his production.

Sanders is ok…but hoping we get one of the top 50 DTs in round 2.

:hammer:Replacing Osa with a draft pick is not the way to go. I would resign both Osa and Gholston then draft Saunders. We need as many defensive linemen as possible.

Resigning Osa is a huge priority for a team that is void of DT talent…

IMO we should resign Osa and go after another vet DT AND draft a DT early.

Turn a freaking weakness into a strength for once but Jerry won’t.

Right now, if we sign Odighizuwa, the biggest DT concern is if Mazi can't develop into a good pass down player.

Id still take Harmon at 12 even with Odighizuwa getting a contract. Ton of gap versatility and can play with both Smith and Odighizuwa. Id still like Nolan, but he is a very similar type player to Odighizuwa. Wouldnt be a bad thing, but you'd rather have more versatility of you could

Thr Cowboys probably believe scheme, development of Kneeeland, and the return of Sam Williams will improve the pass rush. Mazi will be better. He appears to be healthy so he will be able to train in the offseason. Defensive tackle is a hard position to play. I was shocked that we had 52 sacks last season as a team. :omg:

Osa is our best pass rusher not named Micah…can’t count on Williams and Kneeland is a run plugger.

I probably need to say what I think our front office thinks when I make my posts. Sadly I believe the front office thinks if we were healthy we would be playing this weekend. The front office believes Sam is our best pass rusher next to Parsons and he would have been our starting defensive end if he was not injured. The front office sees that Kneeland got lots of pressures that can be turned into sacks and finally the front office does not believe Osa is a 20 million a season player. His stats improved once Parsons returned. Osa did nothing in Parsons absence.
