Love to have him back but I'm guessing he would not start. I hate to say it, but keep an eye on the Eagles and/or Giants.

Bears Shopping All-Pro Robert Quinn Ahead of Trade Deadline, per Report

Robert Quinn’s days are reportedly numbered in a Chicago uniform.

Jason La Canfora of The Washington Post reported that multiple NFL executives spoke on the condition of anonymity that the veteran pass rusher will be “shopped around” during the NFL’s trade deadline, which is Nov. 1 by 4 p.m. ET.

The news comes after the franchise previously stated that it did not want to trade Quinn during the offseason. One NFL general manager said to the Post that Chicago wants to move the three-time Pro Bowler, but the franchise will have to “eat” some of Quinn’s contract to do so.

That's a divorce that makes sense. The Bears aren't winning anything with Quinn and would like to drop his salary off the books, and I'm sure Quinn would like to play on a contender before he retires.

Chicago is definitely going to have to eat some money to get any deal done though.

He doesn't fit on the Cowboys though. The only thing he would do here would be to take snaps from Sam Williams, and Williams is already pretty good.

Speaking strictly for myself, I'm not interested. Robert Quinn is a one-trick pony who concentrates upon his pass rushing, to the exclusion of guarding against the opposition's running game. Dallas already has a very effective pass rush and doesn't need him. He'd just weaken the containment our opponents' RBs. No thanks.

not interested... is Roquan Smith available?

Even if he is, he'd cost much too much more than our FO might consider.

Such a deal won't do. Besides, we already have Damone Clark in house.
