Report: Bill Belichick would have been interested in the Cowboys' job

For sure Belichick would have preferred to coach in the NFL. This old man does not really want to coach in college and deal with recruiting and NIL...he just didn't have any interested teams. But he definitely would have taken the HC job of the worst team in the NFL over settling for college.

Why? Cowboys most profitable sports franchise, why that clown need to be so damn cheap, his old *** can’t take it to the grave with him!
The son, the chemical engineer (aka cap boy) has broad influence over Jerry I believe.

Given how poor Bill's drafts were his last several years in New England, I can absolutely see why teams would balk at him asking to bring along his puppet GM.

Bill coaching + Bill drafting was not a successful formula post Tom Brady, and even for Brady's last couple seasons.
That's why he would have been a perfect fit here. We always draft well. So we can cover for him in that area.

Jerry is going to set up a go fund me for the buyout.

10 mil is just too much for him to spend right now for the release and then pay the coach money. Everyone is feeling the squeeze these days.

BB was just having lunch last week at a BBQ restaurant in Lexington,NC near me on his way back to Chapel Hill from a recruiting trip in Charlotte. Would have been neat to be eating there that day which I did two days before.

You say that like you think it’s a lot of money
It is for Jerry if he is attempting to sign Coaches on a performance based deal, when the number factor holding back Coaches in Dallas is the GM.
