Report: Bryant off draft boards of 10+ teams

how much more productive do you need the offense to be?

seriously?

We are good enough to win a superbowl at WR. So you don't burn a first rounder on one, unless he can fill a need right now. We need a returner. Otherwise he gets bumped for a lesser player that can help the team win now.

This is the season, Bryant the WR doesn't win us jack all. He gets stats that some other receiver we already have would get otherwise.

Read my above post. He was one if the best returners in college football his soph year. Now can you justify spending a 1st on him since he can return? Lmao. Regardless of whether or not he could return, you don't pass up on a top 5 talent and arguably the best wr prospect in recent years just cause he can't return, which isn't even the case. That's just stupid.

As always, it depends on who's on the board at the time as Iupati is ideal (give up on thinking ET will be there).

If Bryant is there though, that's quite the decision to make.

Don't forget that we are at #27 - if Bryant is a bust, he didn't get a big contract and it won't wreck the franchise. We've had worst high picks lately yet are still afloat (paging Bobby Carpenter).

offense had a problem finishing drives..DB will help that a lot

Bryant over Iupati all day..that is my opinion, I can understand the other side..but I take DB over Iupati everytime

If he is sitting there at 27, you have to pick him. Seriously, if not for his "diva complex", he would be a top 5 pick.

If you have a chance to get top 5 talent at pick 27, you dont take a pass. With all that being said, I think this is going to be a moot point since I dont see him lasting till the 27th pick.

I disagree.

Witten can finish drives just fine, and I don't see a new kid replacing Witten in tony's head when it matters.

I think Witten had a horrible year last year, by the way, at least for him.

Dez bryant would be a great pick..but man I want Earl the pearl.

I would love to get Earl as well, but I just dont see him lasting till pick 27. You think he will be there for us or do you think we should trade up???

we need touchdowns, but we don't need more yardage.

I don't think a rookie means more touchdowns. Nothing in Romo's history would point that way either.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Iupati is #1 on our draft board of guys we have a shot at.

Imagine if Bryant falls to us in the 2nd because of these 10 teams. I'd be giddy. It won't happen.

I want to be really clear with this.

This is the year for a superbowl, our draft our trades everything is meant to win this year.

Jerry has his stadium and he damned sure intends to make this his superbowl.

That weighs heavy in my opinions.

Not to mention I think there will be players, including Bryant, that other teams would be willing to trade up for, giving us more picks, and with this draft I think there are players that could make an impact this year and years after. It would be a smart move.

If the team has that opinion that is fine w me..They know more than I do..I am just saying I would take DB

Dez Bryant would have a bigger impact on this team than any other player you can select..the only player that can even rival him is Earl Thomas and that is questionable..

again, not including the SURE FIRE top 5 picks

If he were to fall to 27 i'd take him! Remember the last time we passed on a big talented WR (randy moss) we still regret that. He could contribute a little this year and then next season take over for RW. Its all good!
I agree. If he falls to 27 I would take him in a heartbeat.

outside of kicks, which people think he can but aren't sure of, why would he produce more than the guys already on the roster?

we pass a ton, would Dez Catch 10+ touchdowns a year, and would our other receivers still produce like they did before? because then, absolutely, let's get him.

Unless he is Randy Moss, we should pass, and hopefully trade out of the spot and end up with a couple of seconds this year, that would help the team.

I personally think he would come in and instantly take over the #3 WR position and if Roy Williams doesn't get his act together I wouldnt be surprised if he was starting by the end of the season..

does an awesome #3 win us a superbowl this year?

That's the motive in jerryland.

At least I firmly believe that.
