A lot of teams will take a look at him based on his pedigree. Not getting traded to an NFC East team though surely!

It's not like he was a bust from day 1 as he had a good rookie season so health or the right players and coaches could get his career right back on track.

Bradley Chubb was kind of a similar story. Top 5 pick, had game when healthy but he was always hurt. Miami traded a 1st round pick for him and gave him a $100M contract.

Young has had even worse health/availability than Chubb. Frankly, his 2 year long injury is scary as hell. And even then - I wouldn't be surprised if some team still gave Washington a big offer.

I think he has turned Rivera off to no end. It all started the off-season following his rookie year ( he dominated ) when he skipped all voluntary OTAs with the team to work out on his own AND work on his brand. That fact he was injured the following season.......I don't think ever got out of Riveria dog house. Word is, Riveria was livid after the comments below.

He far from "Dominated". He had 7.5 sacks, 5.5 of those came against NFC East opponents with backup tackles (the likes of rookie Steele and Knight & Nseke). He flashed athletism here and there, but Parsons rookie campaign is "dominating", not this guy.

So far he's been a bust, but he obviously does have some high end ability. If he's healthy he's worth a kick in the tire for a conditional 5th, maybe a 4th, but I wouldn't go any higher. He could be a very good rotational piece.

Which seems to suggest that there may be sumthin' wrong with Young medically for Commandies to consider giving up on him as once seen as a generation pass rusher .....

Why wouldn’t that be put out there before and during draft time?

Jerry this is your "hold my beer" moment. Sign this kid and hand him over to DQ and you'll have thee best DEF in the league!

That says Washington not only didn’t pick up that 5th year option, they don’t even want a Year 4!
Trading him now gets the most value for him. Trading him after his contract runs out, not so much.

Yeah, I think that's closer to today's player in general. He was just up front about it.
