Honestly, this is their way of saying we are not offering you a 2nd contract and don't trust you enough to be worthy of a franchise tag. IMO

I think he has turned Rivera off to no end. It all started the off-season following his rookie year ( he dominated ) when he skipped all voluntary OTAs with the team to work out on his own AND work on his brand. That fact he was injured the following season.......I don't think ever got out of Riveria dog house. Word is, Riveria was livid after the comments below.
