If he wants to win a Super Bowl he'll come here.
Take a moment to have your coffee as you are a bit punchy this morning for some reason. You made a comment about Jerry, and applied the OP to him, but not others, that is kind of Cherry picking. And it is also about going into 2023 season. Not about past history.
So I just ask a simple question. Any other time you don't use the excuse...it is a Cowboys forum, so why would you comment about the other teams. You do at other times.
Same goes for you, you seem to be defensive.Take a moment to have your coffee as you are a bit punchy this morning for some reason.
And you know this how? You’ve seen him workout ? That’s pretty powerful considering he wouldn’t even work out for billion dollar organizations. Bills don’t wanna win? Chiefs aren’t trying to win? Both rumored for him also. This right here tells you it's not about actually winning for Jerry but rather the headlines. OBJ is no longer what he was and more than anything he is full of drama.
Serious lack of sleep recently and side effects of steroids I am on.Same goes for you, you seem to be defensive.
Coming off the heels of Jerry openly saying his priority is staying relevant speaks volumes about why he would enter talk into OBJ signing as he saw what attention it brought last season. And you know this how? I have zero issues if you don’t want the player, I don’t even care that much about signing and would likely pass but don’t make the cowboys interest an indictment on Jerry’s will to win. We have enough real stuff to criticize jerry for
Spoiler alert ; The cowboys don’t need obj to stay relevant. We’ve been irrelevant to winning for 30 years and we dominate ratings, clicks and headlines.Coming off the heels of Jerry openly saying his priority is staying relevant speaks volumes about why he would enter talk into OBJ signing as he saw what attention it brought last season.
This is true but there are a few decent WRs currently on teams that be released or avail via trade ( Evans, Thomas ( Saints ), Allen, Cook )
well first off, most of these story's are not generated by the FO, jerry or any official Cowboy sources', we have always been relative, the media goes where the ratings go, Cowboys are highly rated in every game played.Spoiler alert ; The cowboys don’t need obj to stay relevant. Also perception is key….you here relevant from Jerry and means he’s talking only about in the news feed when it also mean relevant in terms of having a team capable of winning in the nfl
Chark.Looks like Jerry is going to have competition for his service. Please know, he's following the money regardless of what he says.
FYI......Spotrac puts his market value at $13.1M. Interesting coz at one point last season, it was in the $5-6M range. If the $13M is correct........I'm out. Besides, I was strongly leaning toward Mike Evans anyway. Just think with Mike, you are not getting just a WRs, but a player.

Giants Likely To Resume Odell Beckham Jr. Pursuit, Eye First-Round WR Pick

Assuming Beckham has used the past few months to move closer to 100%, or around 80% of the version he was prior to his second ACL tear, Hughes expects the Giants to be in the mix until the end for a reunion. Beckham, 30, has expressed steady interest in his former team, as tweets during last season’s surprise playoff journey most recently showed, but he may not have the same interest if the Giants move on from both Sterling Shepard and Saquon Barkley. The two skill-position holdovers from Beckham’s Giants stay are free agency-bound, though the team has shown steady interest in keeping Barkley — so long as such a pursuit does not involve letting Daniel Jones walk.
The Cowboys and Rams are also expected to revisit a Beckham push. Considering this year’s underwhelming market, it will be interesting to see where teams will go to add OBJ. The eight-year veteran was last seen playing a major role in the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI win, but his second ACL tear crushed his 2022 market. He will join the likes of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jakobi Meyers, Allen Lazard, DJ Chark and others on this year’s

@GiantsVidal1027: What’s the Giants’ current interest in Odell Beckham since they have a head start on most teams due to the visit they had?
HUGHES: It was smart for the Giants to do what they tried to do with Beckham. They had no real belief he’d play in 2022. The thought was that they could give him some guaranteed money now, then have him rehab and train with their medical staff, to return in 2023. Beckham basically wanted to be paid like he’s already 100 percent and will be the player he was pre-injury.
I think you’ll see the Giants explore that one again this offseason. Beckham should be able to work out for teams by March. If he shows he’s even 80 percent of the player he was he’ll have much more than the Giants, Cowboys and Bills interested in signing him. I’d expect the Giants to be in that one until the end. Granted, Beckham’s interest in returning to New York might be a bit more lukewarm if the Giants let Barkley and Sterling Shepard, his two close friends, walk.
Cowboys already layed the groundwork and already know what kind of deal he is looking for. Unless another team blows that offer out of the water, good chance he signs with us.Looks like Jerry is going to have competition for his service. Wait till the first 5 times O'Dell thinks he's open and Dak throws to his check down or makes a poor pass.
You want to see drama? You want pressure on Dak?
