Report: Cowboys have 'good offer' on table for O’Brien Schofield

O'Brien Schofield is still looking for a home in the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys are considered a landing spot.

According to ESPN's Vaughn McClure, the Cowboys are one of three reported teams with a "good offer" on the table for the free-agent OLB/DE last with the Falcons. The Bears and Jaguars are the other two teams with the reported interest and an offer.

Has not really played a lot either. Keeps getting hurt and even when healthy, part of a deep rotation.

Mike Neal is another guy that is 28 and has position flex and should come cheap. Looks a lot like this Schofield guy.

When he got released I mentioned him as a possibility....not sure what the deal is with him, as I haven't heard any interest in him from anyone. He definitely wasn't used properly in Indy.

Went to an article on him and the fan comments were all favorable that they wanted Atlanta to sign him back. His numbers as a part time player are ok and he has had some big sacks.

They are really kind of similar players. Schofield is pushing to be a nickle pass rusher, which really is basically the same thing Wilber can be in the nickle. Their stats are really pretty similar.
