Nope, I'd rather talk about realistic plans not trading for retired guys who don't have to come back to us. And I plan on us doing very well this year.

Just not try to win the division, right? Your that guy on every team who does the least amount of work possible but takes the lion's share of the credit.

Camp body, not impressed. Should have signed Aminu Silatolu (Bears picked up recently) or traded for retired but still young players like D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Anthony Davis.

CZ. The only place where a guy is signed to get snaps in camp and people treat it like the first day of FA.

Hmmmmm. I would bet a lot of cash that if we had this forum back when Drew Pearson was signed as a FA, people would say the same...camp fodder, jag, and all that same crap.

What did many say about Tony when signed as a FA...come on now,,I bet many thought the same thing....

LOL.

Are you mental? I've said on the record multiple times that we will win this putrid division and easily at that. I see us going 13-3 with our schedule. But please make up more facts about me when you really know nothing and continue to look foolish.

Really? Chaz isn't developing as hoped? We haven't even started training camp yet. This is nothing more than a camp body.

We'll soon see . . . it's mere speculation based partly upon what I've read lately and the fact that the staff is still hunting for personnel. No need to take it as a condemnation of his being a failure -- the true test is yet to be taken. In fact, I don't believe I took any more liberty in my statement than you did with your "camp body" assertion.

Stephen Jones was pretty effusive about Green at this year's season ticket holder session, anyway. They probably aren't too down on him.

I don't remember hearing anything bad re Charlie Brown, but it wouldn't shock me if he were to have come in overweight or not in shape.

I'm thinking they probably just liked this Bradfield's starting reps to bring him in to push people.

No offense intended -- I'm not the first to speculate that there may be a valid reason why the staff is bringing Bradfield in. I've seen reports that Charles Brown isn't looking good in practice and that Green has been less than impressive thus far but I'm confident TC will go a long way in revealing whether that's factual or not. Yes, it's early yet. I'm as willing to keep an open mind as anyone else -- just passing on what I've read.

Brown was put on retired list. Reason they signed 2 OL.

Good grief, this off-season ! All the drug issues/suspensions. Elliott in trouble, McClain, Lawrence and Gregory. McFadden's elbow etc. And now 3 days before training camp they have to pick up 2 camp bodies last minute to have depth for the Swing Tackle. Ummm, don't you think he could have let the team know earlier that he was contemplating this ? Or do you think it was the team saying - time to hang up the cleats man !
Probably the later I guess.
Count me in the Chaz Green camp for swing, I DO NOT want one of our guards moving out to tackle.

Brown was last year's swing tackle, he is now retired. This was actually not just a camp body signing. Losing out on good AND affordable players due to lack of foresight and planning is a reason for panic. It's indicative of FO that lacks true experience or knowledge of the game.

Jerry, Stephen and even Garrett lack the skins on the wall to do their job. How long has it been that other teams look to Cowboys for innovation or trends on the field. Belichick can do no wrong even when he drafts and pays big money to murderers. Cowboys sign a DV guy and the whole world attacks them, simply because they have not proven they deserve the benefit of the doubt. Other teams sign worse human beings and nary a peep is said.

Jerry and Garrett are always copying other successful coaches and programs because they have proven they lack the wherewithal to succeed between the lines on their own merits. Jerry wants the newest shiny toy while Garrett has TO HAVE pro bowl level RKG's at every position to even have a chance at a winning season. Unable to coach up talented but troubled players so needs the best players without any issues to compete.

Yep, I saw that news on the Cowboys website a while ago. Can't say as I'm surprised about Brown. I'm still hoping Chad will prove himself when TC commences. The latest bad news about Gregory is disturbing but at the same time, it's not too surprising, either. Maybe we're about due to get some good news for a change in the weeks to come. It'd help.
